Be glad I have no nekkid avatar.

Can you prove your avatar is not nekkid?

Also is this one of those emperors new suit type scenarios cause I've already made that joke on one of the game threads.

W00t!

SUPER AWESOME KINGMAKER THING!

Huzzah!

Spoiler! Major spoiler! From the last entry in the AP!:

So we finally confronted Ilthuliak the famous black dragon - my character (we've gotten it down to a single-player game by this point) was in dragon form, as you do, to confront the dragon.

She was very polite and welcoming, and I noticed a fine mesh - a beautiful array of glittering jewels held together by thin chains all across her body - non-magical, except for normal "strengthening" wards.

After some chit-chat, my character was permitted to land, at which point the GM, burst into song (complete with altered lyrics and a music-only version she found from who-knows-where) as an awesome cut-scene! XD

SO DAGGUM COOL!

Looking for a story that ends with "Don't start the fire, don't tell her about the 7-year boner"? Have I got one for you!!!

1 person marked this as a favorite.

A story.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Not the 7-year boner.

Although I may have a fire.

But that's mine.

You can't have it.

Just discovered that as a young man, Patrick Troughton, who played the Second Doctor, looked like Jon Hamm.

Huh. Yeah definitely a resemblance.

Doctor who now?

Exactly!

Random question, either for those of you who were rather tall children or are the parents of rather tall children:

My four-year-old son is the same height as most of the five- and six-year olds in my class and keeps getting taller. Over the past few weeks, he's started falling down and hurting himself. A lot. In weird ways.
And he's never been clumsy; he until recently seemed to have been gifted with an absurdly high Dex.
WTF?

REALLY common. Growth spurt = clumsy.

I had all kinds of fun with my friends with that one. As I never had one, and they all did.

yup. I grew slowly and constantly over the years. Was always clumsy.

It was your black manliness getting in the way.

Ooooooh.... that came out WAY wrong! Ah well, posted now. Nothing I can do about it. It's not like they have "Edit" or "Delete" buttons...

Well, there's probably a difference between his black manliness and his black manhood. I think. Maybe.

I trip over both regularly.

Even though i've never seen Cowboy Star even I can tell Firefly rips it off.

Seriously, if you close your eyes and imagine it all as anime you can almost see where Whedon filed off the serial numbers.

And outside of Wash and the lady who got gut shot when Captain a*%%$+% confronted Mister Red Herring in a suit I can honestly say I hope everyone dies.

We recommend taking bigger steps when you walk, and moving to Hollywood to be a (adult film) star.

I was kicked out of three churches because of my enthusiastic defense of both D&D and heavy metal during those days.

"You don't understand, it's not about Satan, it's about cocaine!" - Me at thirteen defending Master Of Puppets to my Sunday school teacher.

I was worried (or paranoid if you prefer) that our dog had fleas again, so i've been carefully watching him. Because it's also the time of year for us to get invited to backyard barbecues our dog is gassier then usual, and because of my cautious (paranoid) watching I noticed that when he farts he looks up wondering what the sound was and then suspiciously smells his own butt (or as it's commonly referred to in Europe "Futball" or "Arse").

The more you know! (but didn't want to).

Fleas, ticks and bedbugs are unpleasant. I wonder how they keep being a thorn in our side.

The same way mosquitoes do.

I wonder if we can kill those three off the same way, and if it would have a negative environmental impact (it seems that apparently most researchers agree that killing off all the mosquitoes will not have a negative environmental impact, but I find that questionable - not that I say it's false, but rather than it seems surprisingly certain considering it's difficult to even guess at a world without them).

You know that moment when you see a thread in the sidebar, you look through it to comment on rule advice... Then you look on date and discover that you already commented on it a few years ago.

Though at least the thread involved necromantic spell...

You should try making a account posting a bunch in random pages then do nothing with it for 8 years. make a whole new account then see a post by your younger self that you forgot existed.
