Speaking of, though it wasn't nearly as bad, yesterday afternoon, we got back from a daytrip, and I, nursing a headache, nausea, stuffed nose, and mild dizziness (all of which, save the dizziness, appeared about ten minutes into the hour-long drive back home; the dizziness appeared only after we got back home), though, [i]Okay, so I need to put my eldest to bed, and update my PbP, and play the game with my wife." and, at some unknown (to me) point, apparently decided the best way to do that was to go back to the bedroom and pass out until 4 AM.

Nailed it! First try!

EDIT: Well, I did have to get dressed for the day... *re-clothes*

I'd call it a blurange.

I'd call it weird, or else note that, until now, I'd never heard of it.

Some others would call it amoral*!

Thanks, TL. I was in sheer agony. It felt like someone had driven a white-hot icepick behind my right eye. It hurt so much, I was in tears.

You stabbed your thumb with a small toilet? Was it for a doll house or something?

Nope, regular sized. :-)

TL, you must have the patience of a genuine saint if you can put up with that all day long. Either that, or you can cast Zone of Silence at will.

There we will have to agree to disagree, in that case.

Slowed down to 16rpm it might be alright, I suppose.

Did you know: One of the reasons Metallica played faster was because Lars Ulrich would get nervous and start drumming faster, and rather than telling Lars to slow down they would play their guitars faster to keep up.

Hm... so, after church and lunch today, this basically happened the same way again.

The entire duration of the thunderstorm, I was in bed, mostly unconscious, dizzy and headache-y (though lacking the mild nausea this time - I suspect that part, at least, was caused by the pool water) and I was out until ~7:30. Any time I tried to do anything I just kind of dizzily went back to sleep.

Hmp. That's... unfortunate. Hopefully, this isn't the beginning of a trend.

Oh, you cad, you.

I'm assuming that "cad" is more like "rapscallion" and less like the kind of epithets used by most internet people. Please let me know otherwise.

I cannot, in fact, cast zone of silence at will.

It's made more so, I think, by the fact that it's actually sung by a child.

That said, it can wear on the nerves after a long-enough while... especially when you're more interested in listening to something like the Emerald Sword Saga.

Having seen EK's posts around here, it sounds like it fits!

(In the U.S., though, where I've lived, it's been more used as a rapscallion-style term, though, so I'm sticking with that colloquialism, instead of the core definition.)

EDIT: And I can't believe this wasn't the first thing I typed: thanks! XD

A country man invites his city cousin to go duck hunting with him, so he could show off his prized duck hunting dog. As they approach the first pond, the dog sneaks ahead into the brush for a moment, then comes back and wags it's tail once. The country man says "That means there's one duck in that pond." They move ahead, and sure enough, one duck flies up from the pond. They shoot it, and move towards the next pond. As they approach, the dog skulks off again, then comes back and wags it's tail three times. The country man says "And that there means three ducks up ahead." Sure enough, as they approach the pond, three ducks fly off. They shoot those as well, and then move on to the next pond. Once again, the dog goes ahead, and comes back a few minutes later. This time he starts humping the country man's leg and chasing his own tail. The city man says "So, what's that supposed to mean?" The country man smiles widely and says "That means there's so many f#%*ing ducks ahead that he can't even count them all!"
