Aye, Sir.

I'm giving it all she's got you goddamn morherf~$$ers. But unless you have another warp core up your f~#*ing ass, I suggest using the goddamn f*~~ing phasers, morherf!+%er!

Wait, hold on, is this the Quentin Tarantino reboot...

My children's bedtime is 7:30.

So naturally, they're going to bed tonight at 9 (well, fifteen after...).

John, I'm really beginning to think you lurk the thread just to get all the nekkidness.

But *do* keep the uniform on, please.

lol

Well, not really. I'm just bad at paying attention to the page breaks. People keep posting between the time I start a message, and the time I hit submit Post. So the page break often sneaks up on me.

Has anyone ever in the history of parenting gotten their kids to bed by 7:30.

I'm picking up the Legos while The General is reading stories and Pea Bear listens to Rap battles of History or something.

Actually, we're usually not too far off, though it's really tough to pull off. Sometimes we even on-the-dot it! ... okay, so that was once, but still!

Though 7:30 is bed time, not sleep time. Biiiiiig difference!

And yes, love the pockets. Except when I have to find my keys... every pocket is a suspect...

Shorts don't work for me at any time of year. I'm too, well, short. If I get shorts from the guys section of the store, they're just awkward pants. If I get shorts from the girls section of the store they're so short they're practically underpants. (WTF?) Or I try capris, which are actually pants on me, but the nice thing is that I don't have to hem them like I do with normal pants. So I just wear linen trousers all summer. Bonus, keeping my skin covered reduces the likelihood of sunburn. :)

But I'm still jealous of those pockets....

I'm not really tall either (online conversor says that I am 5,3 ft tall) but I usually wear shorts all the summer. I find them really comfortable and every year I have the illusion that I'll get a slight tan if I wear them.

What you said about getting a sumburn... too late for me. These days it has been incredibly hot for May, with about 86 F and no clouds (imperial measurements are difficult!) and I have a kinda bad sunburn already. My fault for not wearing sunscreen.

Last night a Chinese guy came into my favorite bar. I asked him if he knew Kung Fu. He angrily replied "Why? Do you think I know Kung Fu just because I'm Chinese?" I said "No, because you're drinking MY beer."

5'7" doesn't seem bad at all. Dal is about 6' which is perfect because in the unfrequent situations that I wear heels he is still a bit taller than me. It's also perfect because there are a few places in my kitchen that I cannot reach.

I'm 5'2", which is apparently 157.48 cm according to the quick conversion app. And I also already got my first sunburn of the season....through my shirt. >.<

It's almost healed, but still a little bit tender because I heal at the speed of erosion. I'm very pale to begin with and I think one of my medicines is making me more photosensitive so I'm the poor sap wearing long pants and long sleeves in the middle of summer even though I don't deal with heat well at all.Last year I got second degree burns on my legs from being in the sun even though I was wearing sunscreen and even reapplying it throughout the day, so now even when I swim everything stays covered. I basically wear a wetsuit. Sure there's a bikini underneath, but nobody ever gets to see it. :P

Meanwhile, the kidlet is already 5'8" and still growing. The nice thing is that now I can make him get stuff down from high shelves for me. This makes a nice change from when he was smaller and I would just climb up like a freaking monkey to get it myself. Yes, even at the grocery store. ;P

Moonburn! That's actually something I had never heard about!

I have never went so far but I don't feel like it's summer until I get a sunburn. It happens all years, an unfortunate combination of being a bit pale and never remembering to use sunscreen... Wearing short clothes is also a factor.

My brother, who is 14 years old, is already more than 6' tall. Our father is tall, his mother is tall... I am short just like my mother.
