Can you Overrun a prone target?

Rules Questions

Not gonna go into detail about why it's important, but is it possible to overrun a target already prone since a prone character still threatens the areas around it and you can't move through their space without making acrobatics checks?

Yes, why wouldn't you be able to?

Yes, and the prone character's CMD would be at –4 because their AC penalty against melee attacks will apply to their CMD. Obviously, they aren't in danger of being knocked prone if the CMB check exceeds their CMD by 5 or more, but they're much less likely to stop the overrunning character.

Note, that Acrobatics checks to move through threatened and occupied squares are against a DC based on CMD, so these checks will also be easier.

i believe the BEST time to overrun someone IS when they are prone...but that is just me ;)

Yup. People who fall to the ground are more likely to be crushed in a stampede, not less, so the rules Pizza Lord mention match reality a bit here too.

Sweet thanks everyone, I figured it worked that way but I wanted to get s better consensus. The combo works!
