Should I watch Battlestar Galactica?

How appropriate, with the wife and kids off for the time being.

I dreamt there was a fire in downtown brooklyn I had to outrun. A famous bank was engulfed in flames and collapsed on itself.

I dreamed I was trying to save a mouse or baby rabbit (or something) from a hand-sized spider, but was afraid of being bitten by the spider. It was snipping the thing to pieces as I tried to rescue it.

The dreams I hate most are the ones where I dream that I've woken up and found that I've overslept.

Then I think 'sod it' and go back to sleep, only to dream that I've woken up again and found, once more, that I've overslept, etc etc.

When I wake up for real (either on time or early), I am always in a proper tizz as a result.

I liked it, just watched part one of miniseries that starts it, I can see why it has such a following, very well done.

Oh, wow. I can actually understand all the untranslated Spanish in Red Dead Redemption, and I don't speak Spanish. I'm not just talking about understanding context, either. I may not be able to form a sentence in Spanish, but I know what the vast majority of the words in this game mean, and that's enough. I'm guessing this has to do with me hailing from big city California and growing up hearing Spanish frequently?

But then again look at the head gear of your avatar and compare story lines.

Not even using a deathstar laser on I-5, everyone that's been to Seattle dreams of that.

Meh. The 1970s didn't have Tricia...

I am not biased, it's not like the Playboy issue with Tricia's photos was the only Playboy I even bothered to buy...

Dear Zeus,

What I would really like to see on Sunday 24th January is a Turkish man beating up teddy bears in space.

Yours,

"A young man, wearing pants, shoes and nothing else, got cheers from the crowd in Times Square as he rode a bicycle down Seventh Avenue, holding a selfie stick to record his ride."

I read this on the news and thought of Freehold, except this guy was wearing pants.

I knew I shouldn't have worn pants.

Well my assistant is moving on up in the company as others suspected...

So temporarily I have this black guy as my new assistant, he will NOT stop talking like he is Fronting. Yes after the first 5 minutes working with the guy I know he thinks he is the sexiest guy here, has his own successful company, and that he considers himself a BOSS when it comes to firearms. All the time hearing this over and over I am thinking no... your kinda cute but NOT the hottest guy here. If you own a company why are you working as my temp assistant? And I am SO tempted to let him take me to a firing range so I can show his smiling self that this little girl is a marksman and isn't impressed by talk.

I will happy to let that guy other there have my bullet, Mr. Pool. I'm allergic to them anyway.

Last night I had a dream that I woke up and discovered that the sun had come out and melted almost all the snow. It was a good dream and I was sad when I actually woke up to discover it was not the case.

I'd say go for it, but he might see it as a date. Tolerate him for now.

Seriously, it's like all the female fawtls merged into one body like on Steven universe or something.

That would be a lot of arms.

LOL. Cue some juvenile "only 26 inches" comment...

...On our Washington (state) ski trip, I was sorely disappointed to only get 18" over 3 days.

Back in the 80's when it actually rained in California, we were accustomed to getting 3-4 feet on a trip. On one trip we got seven feet in two days. We spent the next day digging down to find the cars so we could put flags around them for when the snow blower came through.

Looking at the parking lot, you couldn't tell where cars were, and where they weren't. They were just... gone!

What, no I'm not going to come up with a modern super hero game using pathfinder rpg, that would be crazy...

Crazy enough to work!

A d20 (the chassis of PF) superhero game already exists. It is called Mutants and Masterminds, and to be honest, it's way more balanced. You're trying to reinvent the wheel.

I am currently marathoning The Big O. I love this series. It's just deconstructionist enough without being hipster level nonsense.

Yes, well I'm not made of cash, and it's mostly for kids, so I don't anticipate a lot of stress testing.

I'm not inventing anything, so reinventing won't be an issue.
