Maybe we can work up some sort of line-dancing/burlesque fusion to both satisfy Freehold's Birthday Needs and allow the more terpsichorally challenged an outlet for their creative urges.

Failing that, let's all jump up and down on the spot dressed up as Kitiara.

EDIT: Or alternatively, dressed in nothing at all.Surpriiiise!!!

Captain Yesterday's dancing is Doomsday Device Certified.

To attempt to coordinate, or even, God forbid, try to explain (or condone) it, would most likely end all life on multiple worlds.

So I've been told.

Based on what I'm reading, by my calculations, if we got Ambrosia, Captain Yesterday, and myself in a room line dancing (trying to put our lack of coordination together in a coordinated group dance, ye gods!), I'm pretty sure that would lead to a chain reaction siphoning all the hipness from a 7,273.283 light year radius in a sort of a anti-rhythm black hole (or "honkey hole", as I've dubbed it). Square that number if it's hip hop.

Ugh, stupid autocorect. Messin up my typing rhythm...or is that the honkey hole?

Ahhh 80's and 90's music videos. The perfect mix of B movie level plot twists meets musicians who want to act (but can't) with just a dash of porn lite.

Ambrosia Slaad wrote:
You have to remember that I'm so white I make mayo look ethnic. And that uber-whiteness means that I exert negative rhythm, draining the coordination and style of nearby dancers who cross too close to my ungainly horizon. I make Elaine look like a good dancer. No, my dancing violates the Dresden Agreement of 1931.

This whiteness and it's effects are not gender exclusive, and not a rumor nor merely stereotype, of this I can attest personally. I am one of the sufferers. I don't even have humor to attach to this like Ambrosia. It's not cause for laughter, but mourning, do in my wake lies the death of coordination, style, rhythm, and so many other things related to dancing.

I have been trained thoroughly by both Latin and black friends, and I can assure you I know what to do but cannot physically make my body do it right, and the reasoning or way I screw up is never the same twice. Sometimes it's rhythm, sometimes it's coordination, sometimes it's remembering the wrong step, or sometimes, I do everything right but my natural goofiness overcomes all success and the fact someone who looks like me is doing it cancels everything out and I still look like an idiot.

I think the most amusing thing to me is that I was great at aerobics and tae kwon do; I am terrible at dancing and aikido.

Each person's body moves in unique ways making it well-suited to some tasks, and poorly-suited to others.

Find what you do well, and wow other people with it! :-P
(I can take a hit like Nobody's business. But that's not a particularly useful skill once you're beyond the drunken frat years... or just a sad, sad excuse for a man...)

Holy f~*@ it's a werewolf!

With werewolves, much like zombies, you don't need to be the fastest, as long as you're not the slowest.

The devastation wrought upon our supplies is vast.

We packed as much s$++ as humanly possible (and then some) and it's all gone!

One truck left, but it won't be enough for this savage horde.

Captain Yesterday: No.

Stupid f#!*ing a~!!$&$: what... really?

Captain Yesterday: absolutely, I can't think of a single person that would do that. I'm certainly not doing it, and I'm not asking anyone else to do it.

I'm so disappointed right now. I went to the theater expecting an awesome extension of the original Star Wars trilogy, but what I got was a mediocre rehash of Episode IV with new paint slapped on.

I don't know what it is about this forum but Paizo is the only place where I've met anybody who disliked the new movie. The negative reaction has gotten so bad I hid the SW thread in Movies.

Meanwhile offline and on other websites it's gotten nothing but absolute (and well-deserved IMO) praise, save very minor quibbles.

I wouldn't know what it is. I haven't even been in that thread. I just kniw I saw it, and am thoroughly disappointed with it.

I'm glad I've avoided that thread since last week. I'm watching it Saturday and it'll be really hard to make me hate it since I also love episodes 1 through 3.
