Defensive driving, my dear NH; defensive driving.
It's necessary because people can't read a situation clearly for a host of reasons - kind of like comments on a message board.
That said, traffic is one of those things that can reeeaaaally get to me, so I empathize.
LOL. How I drive honestly depends on my mood, where I am, and what the situation is. In these cases, it was in Albany so:
(1) The other driver almost certainly won't commit an act of road rage(2) Getting hit at 5-7 mph is an inconvenience, not a catastrophe
(3) I had the time to deal with the paperwork, and I'm not particularly concerned about my car
(4) Albany is rife with people speeding, running stop signs, failing to yield to pedestrians and bicyclists, hitting my cats, endangering my kids, and otherwise making me want to lay down speed sensors that pop the tires of anyone who performs a rolling stop or goes over 30 mph on a residential street.
So it's more "petty vengeance because I can get away with it" than anything else. I sure as heck don't do those sorts of things even in Berkeley...

Please help because I really need help and I think the discussion would be better in a separate thread instead of intruding everyone else's space
First: the most important rule of message boards: if it seems urgent, it's not.
We will gladly help, welcome to FAWTL, and enjoy! Questions are fine, we're petty easy going.
Second, to start a new topic, you'll want to click the "Add New Thread" button - it only appears when you're in a subforum, like Offtopic Discussions, instead of in a thread like this one (this thread - Deep 6 FAWTL - is a thread inside of the subforum. You can get into the subforum proper by clicking on the blue name "Off Topic Discussions" at the top of this page.)
Hope that helps!

Also can I just ask questions here?
You can, but I'm afraid our answers are likely to be less-than-helpful. We are a humor-filled but good-hearted lot.
Speaking of which, to create a new thread, first click the topic area (such as Off Topic Discussions), and once you're at the list of threads, at the top of the screen to the right of the topic title is an "Add New Thread" link...
EDIT: Darned ninja lions!

I definitely understand the emotion! :D

also Im only 13 years old but my profile looks like 40 year old guy that didn't age very well... can I import my own cartoony photo for my profile?
Sorry, but no. You have to choose from the images offered. But you can always change to one of the other images if this one doesn't suit you. There are a lot of avatar images to choose from, and some of them are more cartoony, so I'm sure you can find something that works for you.
And welcome to the boards. :)lynora |

Trying to decide if what I need right now is MOAR COFFEE or to just shut down all of these tabs and actually write this frigging ending.
Endings are not as easy as you'd think they'd be. Characters are just not cooperative when you're trying to get them all to be in the right places. :/
The answer is probably coffee and shutting down all of the tabs....you can never go wrong with more coffee....unless it's right before bedtime. That doesn't really work so well....

I have it, it is mine!!
~pickpockets Captain Yesterday, removes what is his, and puts a grenade in his pocket~
Fallout New Vegas? If so, then enjoy. Get repair to 90 by level 14 so you can pick up Jurry Rigging. One of the most useful perks in the game. There is also a perk that boosts the skill books and skill magazines. Pick that one up too. Having said that, do not pick up the one that add extra skill points if you plan on going to level 50. You will not need it.
Edit - Also, you can call me if you have any questions.

** spoiler omitted **
I tend to forget about them since they're in the computer, heh, unless something happens where I need them. But I will definitely keep it in mind in the future!
Also, if I may, I'm starting to get nervous. Things have been going relatively smoothely, but things like running low on Ancient Power, and similar things raise my hackles a bit for a Nuzlocke. I kiiiiiiiiiiinda want you to level up some of your bench warmers a bit. But that could just be my creeping paranoia talking (and might not be fun for you). :D
Of course, there's always going somewhere when you know a given pokemon will super-dominate, but bring a host of low-level rubes, and use the Exp Share with everyone but the "champion". Sounds like something I'd do, anyway, if I played pokemon enough to know. :D
That latter is actually my go-to "catch up" method for if I find myself in need of a "team adjustment". Especially since I now have two Exp.Shares to make use of.
I certainly hope it won't, but things like this can turn on a dime, especially if someone pulls out another surprise high-power attack like DynamicPunch or Explosion again.

lynora wrote:Been listening to the Pacific Rim and Big Hero 6 soundtracks while I write, which is actually pretty awesome. The combo of the two soundtracks is really helping me capture that steampunk feel. :)now I *have* to read it.
You can read the second draft once I finish it. :)
I'd let you read the first draft, but it's basically a glorified outline and I know of several places where I'm already planning to make massive structural changes to the story even though I'm not done writing it yet.
