Evidently a child's love is what makes farm raised meat so delicious :-)

Over the years:

(1) Crayfish
(2) Tarantula
(3) Black rat snake
(4) Chinchillae in great abundance -- never let anyone tell you they won't breed in captivity
(5) Madadascar day gecko
(6) Albino corn snake
(7) Leopard gecko

Also, a ferret (illegal in California even when neutered), a corgi, and a multitude of cats.

Ferrets are illegal in California?

Possibly the only thing that is? ;D

Incidentally, keeping ferrets in your trousers is a Bad Idea, mmmmkay.

Too damn hot for clothes:-)

Actually, California is fairly unique among U.S. states in that, as an agricultural state, the law was written, "Anything not explicitly made legal is illegal."

So MOST animals are illegal in California. Ferrets, hedgehogs, armadillos...

You do not want to bring fruit into California, i know that:-)

Mission accomplished...I am buzzed. I blame the Gin Martini

Don't you mean thank the Gin Martini :-)

Just sunk 4 hours into DA:I. For a game so frustrating, you'd think it wouldn't be this addictive. Also, the environments have come a long way from the original DA's theme of "s~~~-brown everything with blood everywhere." Val Royeaux is absolutely beautiful.

Ugh.

I hope at least it's a 'good' move? For good reasons at least?
If splitting up with your partner of over a decade is a good reason, then yes, it's for a good reason. :P

It's a good reason, if not necessarily a happy one.

Evening, all. What did I miss?

Me.

You need to adjust your sights.

Few things are more difficult than finding good reference images of dudes on DeviantArt. Guess not a lot of male models want to spend their time pretending to be wizards and elves in front of a camera.

How is Titanfall, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Destiny and Dishonored (GotY ed.) for Xbox 360, all pretty cheap where I work right now.

Never played Titanfall, and never even heard of Dishonored (bear in mind, I don't play a lot, and the games I do play are almost all BioWare games, with a couple of Bethesda games mixed in). A buddy of mine got Destiny and said that it was a huge rip-off (Angry Joe agrees).

If you want the full Dragon Age: Inquisition experience you need to have an HD TV, or else you'll spend much of the game trying to figure out what the f%+# is going on in combat and trying to read the tiny, tiny text. Other than that, it's pretty cool, if a bit too long and complicated for my tastes. Excellent voice acting, as per usual from Bioware, though the 360 port has some weird bugs, and the save importer is a pain in the ass.

I'm a little biased, though, since at this point, all of the games I play are going to fall into either the "Mass Effect" or "Not Mass Effect" categories.

Dishonored is fun. DA is pretty good. No idea on the others.

Speaking of games, I caved and ordered Knights of the Old Republic (original Xbox) on Amazon. DA:I is OK, but without Mass Effect, I'm not getting my Jennifer Hale fix.

Hey there David. I hope that things are going well for you.

Technically, Jughead, alcohol is a solution.

~sighs~ I wish I liked booze. ~shrugs~ Oh well. i guess being the designated blackmailer works too.

Damn I forget to look for Mass Effect 3 every time!

They never have New Vegas which is what I really want, gonna have to wait a couple weeks either way.

If you have never played Borderlands 1 & 2, then pick them up.

Also give XCOM a try if you can find it.

ME3 without DLC: one of the most disappointing games ever made.

ME3 with DLC: my favorite game of all time.

In other news, I've discovered a disturbing truth about myself. Since I've hit my mid-late-20s, I've become an early riser. I might as well just shave my head, grow out my mustache, and drink box wine every night, so I'll be exactly like my dad instead of just mostly like my dad.

I eventually need to play the Mass Effect series. Sadly, something always comes up. ~coughs~ Fallout and XCOM ~coughs~

What Mass Effect DLCs would you suggest for ME 1, 2, and 3?

My scrounge of a dog is looking at me and trying to use her mental powers to get me to drop the lasagna so she can have it.

I may just pick up a used copy of ME 3 next time I am at the mall. They are under $10.

#1 - Bring Down The Sky

#2 - Lair of the Shadow Broker; Overlord
#3 - Extended Cut; Citadel; Omega; From Ashes; Leviathan

Whatever you do, do not buy Arrival from ME2. It's not good, and it doesn't make any sense.

You'll get a new Vega if you buy ME3...

Red Dead Redemption is also very good.

I strongly disagree- I really liked arrival, it made a lot of sense.

I drove out to my daughter's college to pick her up. She's doing the typical thing of getting her laundry done while she hangs out with friends. :)

I got another monster done this week.

I'm not sure I'm doing this whole arachnophobe thing right by creating eight-legged freaks.

Thanks for making me get off my fat, lazy ass, Paizo. I was just fine in my chair in my livingroom, and I went to buy something from the site. Oh, but the address Paizo has for my card is no longer valid, because I moved. So I change the address? No, I have to input a new payment method. Which means getting up and going to my room and trying not to breath my roommate's smoke while I figure out where I shoved my wallet.

And now I miss grandma too, in general. She's an hour's drive away, but she has the car, not me and I don't want her attempting to drive often.

I have that one, GTA 4, Halo ODST (which I haven't played yet) Battlefield 3, and Elder scrolls: oblivion, also Lego Indiana Jones and Kung Fu Panda (which is one of the most God awful boring games I ever played) the last two came with the console tho :-)

I have recently discovered that my pending downloads are wonky..so I am actively downloading extended cut and omega.

Ah well. Time to blow the dust off the ps2 while I wait.

Ah, unlimited saga. Without this series of games, I would not be here.

Actually for years I only played Madden, but I honestly feel like an a#*%@+! playing it now and haven't played in over 2 years, plus the yearly update and forking over 60 bucks for a slightly different game and when they changed franchise mode to something else I was all like f#~$ that!

I also plan on skipping football entirely this year.

When I type "thing" into Google Search, the first two results from the auto-fill are "Things to do in Syracuse" and "There's nothing to do in Syracuse." Good job answering both my question and your own question, Google.
