staples scroll to forehead

My God how do drive with this! Well at least I have something to read in traffic jams :-)

Looks at stapler and extra scroll, looks down, looks again at stapler and extra scroll, looks down..

Timeless I say!!

Of course, looking back I realize I'm to blame for not paying attention to the post number, however I blame my phone and it's tiny screen :-)

You don't want to use the stapler to cover your nudity... I hope.

Yes i decided against it:-)

A little over enthusiastic for Treppa's party is all:-)

You might consider using scroll, though.

Weave it in your beard instead.

Well it's 90 here today, and humid to boot so my sweat is working just fine, surprisingly the neighbors are fine with it, I wonder if its because they're all old ladies...

go on strike. Overthrow your summer oppressors!

No way! I'm having the time of my life! I thrive in the heat, and the hallucinations are intense!

I'm kidding, no heat stroke for me :-)

Big project coming together nicely. With a little luck added to a competent crew, this playtest doc should see the light of day soon.

*happy dance*

There's that one guy who brings the competence quotient down, though.

4-hour power outage this afternoon due to a stick falling across 2 phases on the overhead power line and shorting out the whole stretch. Blew a fuse at the pole and about 6 blocks lost power. On the plus side, I got to impress my landlord by helping the NiMo guys scout out where the bad fuse was.

My two go-to fast food places lately have been McDonald's and my old favorite, Stewart's. I just realized that my usual meal orders (2 McDoubles, large fries, medium drink for dinner at McD's; breakfast sandwich, blueberry muffin, medium coffee for breakfast at Stewart's) each equal out to $6.66. What I've gained from this, is that if I get breakfast at Stewart's or dinner at McDonald's for 100 days straight, I'll bring about the apocalypse. Sound right?

If you get dinner from McDonald's for 100 days straight, you might bring on a heart attack. Or a colon tumor. Instead, you should make Powdered Toast! a part of your regular diet. It's packed with Vitamin F!!

Now, cling tenaciously to my buttocks.

More likely you would have to keep it for 666 days. At best worst it will be apocalypse in your guts.

Aaaaaand... we have our first true, "You are the parents of teenagers" moment, even though the kids are only 14 and 11, and Impus Major barely tips the scales at 90 pounds.

We got our usual order from Little Star: A large 16" thin crust pepperoni for the boys, and a salad and a 12" deep dish for us. I like leftovers; my wife and I don't even do half the deep dish.

So I went in to get my second piece of deep dish and saw the pepperoni carton by the sink. "Why'd you guys put this here?"

"It's empty, Dad!"

Yes. My two sons finished off a 16" pizza between the two of them so fast that I hadn't even gotten to my second piece of the other pizza before they'd done it.

Wow. Just... wow.

He succours maidens in distress

Lem:"Seoni asks if you could stop
Flicking peanuts down her top"

Valygar:"Naah!
Lem:"Hark! Why do you squeal and gasp?"
Valygar:"Just two words for you: Shocking Grasp""

"Sooo, we were all down at the Maul, which is where Dwarves smash things with sodding great hammers and buy beard ornaments and stuff and there was this actress there. I said, "Heey, are you Demi Moore?" and she said "NO, I'M DEMI LICH!" and her clothes fell away and she was just a skull spinning in mid-air with flaming eyes and jewels for teeth! "Agh! It's Grod!", yelled Haersk; "Yikes! It's "Y"!", shouted Kyra. "Gracious! It's Thuthemachs!", bellowed Ezren. "Mwahahaha! Yes! I am Grod Y Thuthemachs!", shrieked the demi-lich, and it was about to do more Evil talky-talk or cast a spell or something when I neatly GAGGED IT WITH A BOHEMIAN EAR SPOON!"

I made Swedish pancakes yesterday and by the time I was done with the last one and ready to eat some the table was abandoned and I was left with just that last one :-)

And I made a double batch! :-D

Oh, I should mention that yesterday (Day 43) is the longest I've been without alcohol since I started drinking 15 years ago... or started abusing perhaps 10 years ago.

I even made it through a wine tasting without anyone the wiser! :-P
NobodysWife knows I don't like to drink after 5, so when our friend from Ashland suggested a wine tasting, I was very hesitant. I finally relented, we went in, I'd take a teensy sip, then pass the rest to NobodysWife. 18 glasses went around, I tasted 3, and drank none.

Not bad at all!

And yes, I have unashamedly turned it into a game for myself. How long can I go before someone realizes I'm not drinking at all any more? 44 days and counting!

I'm writing, I am, really!

Sheesh. I doubt the blog post will be ready today, though. I still need to think a few things before the new race will be ready.

Uh, two race posts in a row? Maybe I get something else in the meantime... I had some idea for a post in between, but of course I forgot what that was...

Something is wrong with the universe.

I posted in the Rules Forum. And got a rational, comprehensible answer. And we didn't end up in 300+ posts of arguments about what the meaning of "is" is.

Scary stuff...

I need to write at least one more initial race description paragraph for the blog post... Later. Now time for bed. Because the dawn is already here.

How many Swedish people did you use to make these "pancakes"? I worry about you sometimes. Next time you play Fallout, you really should not take the cannibal perk.

Fallout Rampage Captain Yesterday fun fact: never ate neither human nor dog, just doesn't seem right, even in a video game :-)

Okay, my birthday was a tad uneventful but not bad at all.

I got some money as a gift from my parents, and a chocolate cake I love.

Something tells me I will have a few belated gifts sent my way in the near future too.
