Once you see Gotrek kill things like a great wyrm dragon the size of a small town and the avatar of a god you get a new respect for Dwarfy kind=D

Kidlet:
Another fun weekend with my little man. It was the annual Galway gaming convention this weekend, Itzacon, so I brought him down to say hello to a bunch of my old gamer friends. Of course, he fell asleep on the way, so he didn't say hello, but it was nice to see some old faces. I planned to go back for day 2, preferably when he was awake, but my Dad was going on holidays and wanted to spend time with his grandson before heading off, and I didn't feel like I could say no. Ah well, maybe next year.

It was a fun weekend overall, the little one getting more active and energetic and chatty. He's so full of energy, I'm always exhausted by the time he heads back to his mom. This weekend, we were going over shapes, numbers, letters and animals. I think my bear and lion are too good, cause he skips those pages in the animal book now. Whoops. >.> He loves monkeys (Oo Oo!) and elephants (I put my arm up to my nose for a trunk, which he's also taken to doing) though. Every time he's with me, he never ceases to fill me with pride. I freakin' love him to bits.

Of course, corollary to that, him going home is getting harder and harder. My mum is doing the journey today while I'm at work, and all I can think about is how my little mouser won't be there when I get home. At least I'll have him for the four day Easter weekend. I already can't wait to have him again. ^_^

I'm working in a A/C factory so lots of moving and lifting but it's so muh better than working for 12 hours I get home in time to have dinner with my wife. Also more money...not that I've gotten a paycheck but I'll have one friday.

So I just realized that I posted that whole bit right after the posts about Mike...that completly makes my post seem irrelevant...I never got to interact with him at all he had already left by the time I started hanging out on Paizo.

Love that book. Sad to hear of his passing. This year has been rough.

That was after I had mentioned to him we had discussed where he left to and asked him to pop in and say hello.

He was the sort of guy who couldn't resist summoning spell, if but for a brief moment.

Well i've spent the last 10 days gently washing our dog's Penis with hot soapy water because the poor lil guy got a cut on it that got infected :S

Better now, yay! for that

on the plus side this is the first time he was injured where he didn't try to bite me as i was cleaning it/helping him, in a way it brought us closer and helped us bond:-)

and hopefully i never have to do that again

Oh My God! i hope no one has to go through that! like ever! not much scarier then finding your dog with a bloody slightly swollen [redacted], really amped up the everyday stress for awhile there:S

But he's all better and humping his stuffed bear like a Pro:-)

No. damn. What happened and where did you read about it? damn damn damn. I was thinking about trying to get back in touch with him this year.

Passed away in a car accident couple days ago, far far too young:(

~string of curse words~ Is his GF ok? I know that he was with someone and I know that I have talked to her a few times. Is she ok? ~another string of curse words~ Do the Paizo people know about this? If not, then someone should let them know.

They know, check the Paizo blog, they did a touching remembrance, made me cry
