Also, while re-watching Star Trek: Voyager, I've come to the conclusion that a more fitting title would have been Star Trek: Ship Full Of Morons.

Hey! I like voyager!

shakes fist

I actually like all of the different Star Trek shows equally, including Voyager. I also acknowledge that most of the crew of Voyager are endearing, entertaining morons.

they were far more cunning than that, if you remember.

Hence the "not to be confused." Sometimes I wonder if the Pakleds have an intellectual edge on Kim, Chakotay, Torres, and Janeway.

I'm thinking about finishing the playthrough I started months ago and dropped in favor of two back-to-back playthroughs of the Mass Effect trilogy...

I'm sorry, Sylgja, but I've found someone else. She's got blue skin and can flay you alive... with her mind. Also, she doesn't do nearly as much of the watching-me-while-I-sleep-while-munching-on-an-entire-loaf-of-bread thing.

You are cold.

I don't know if I can ever play that game without entering into a relationship with her.

I love Liara. I don't think I could ever play a game where I didn't end up with her.

I don't just love Liara though, if anything, she's my least favorite Asari, which is saying something.

When I die, I hope I go to the heaven that's populated by asari. Extranet asari, according to Ashley Williams, but that may be her stereotyping talking. OOh, even better, I wanna be the bartender asari's roommate!!!!! Moreover, I hope my heaven is right across the street from Orthos' heaven, so I can be THAT GUY.

Heaven Orthos, meditating/relaxing/doing something ascetic
Loud noises come from across the street, indicative of lots of bass, massive Baysplosions and possibly carnal activity
Heaven FreeholdDM: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!! I LOVE BEING DEAD N' STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Heaven Orthos: Ugh. THAT guy.

It'll be AWESOME!

If my heaven doesn't come with industrial-strength headphones I need to have a talk with sanctified tech support. ;)

*yum-yum*

I have eaten. I am waiting for reveal of first of the top five monsters in Sword For Hire competition and soon I am going for a Game Of Thrones.

And so Orthos choose the dark side and fell from grace and ended in Hell...

Away for a Game Of Thrones...

hi everyone!

today we where at the "mediveal market" ( renaissaance fair for AmeriFaWtls) at the local castle (the Ronneburg)

So I got a Nielsen survey in the mail.

My TV solely exists to run my video games. I don't get any channels on it, not having cable and living in the bustling metro of "Wait you mean people actually live out there?"

This is going to be fun.

Awwwww, no write-in section? Fun. Killed.

Except on race. Somehow I don't think they would appreciate "Hurdles, 100m."

Wait they seriously put everything under 35 in one age category? Assuming they only send this to households of legal adults, that's a 17 year range, and I don't see 30-somethings rapidly approaching a midlife crisis having the same tastes as the innocent Greek Lifers at the frat house.

Good grief. No wonder ratings are so skewed for TV. Their categories are bunk.

These are so vague.

I think I've completely thrown off some sort of bell curve without even having to lie.

Okay, more a Jedi truth.

There wasn't a bubble to fill in for my actual honest opinion. Doesn't count.

I can't shake the feeling I'm making statisticians cry.

Then again, these things are notoriously limited in their scope to the point I assume they thought "sampling" meant "Road trip to Costco on a Sunday."

And I find myself coming back around to not much caring.

I have to be honest, though.

If I did get slammed with a Nielsen box to monitor my shows, I'd probably keep it permanently on PBS or Disney Jr. or something just to make whoever tallies my numbers have to wonder why there seems to be an endless tour of Sesame Street when the demographics clearly show no one under the age of 20 in this household.

Not like I'm ever in the same room as the TV unless I'm jonesing for some sweet Katamari action.

Now I have to brainstorm the worst possible combination to put together.

Any animal rescue show + anything on Food Network.

Police procedurals + professional sports.

I started to wonder what race a hurdles is... Is that some kind of huldrefolk?

Innocent frat house?!

Yep.

Congratulations to the badger!

Back from games of thrones. Martells victorious in 10th round by tactically not conquering two castles in previous rounds (so they were able to take unoccupied castles in single move before anyone was able to stop them... Starks under the glorious Drejk Snow leadership managed to keep the North, Eyrie and Seagard but were unable to mount decisive offensive that would give them Cracklaw Point and Riverrun in single turn...

Time to bed so I can get up earlier (like around 12, do a few things at home and then go to session).

I did Nielsen surveys for a little while. I don't think they learned much, and while it was annoying trying to fill out their little log books, I think they sent me about $30 each time. They certainly wouldn't get any useful info off me since I cancelled my satellite service and just watch youtube and netflix.

Ran my first Mystralas campaign yesterday, and it went well!

The campaign got a rather odd nickname from the player group though.

Minstrel-ass?

"Why do we have three Clerics?", which later got changed to "Three Clerics". It's the nickname they gave the campaign, not the setting.

"Why do we have three Clerics?" sounds a lot better to me than what I usually hear in my groups: "No one is a f*++ing Cleric?"

Three clerics is unusual for an adventuring party.

Three Clerics sounds like an awesome party.

Unlike my Jade Regent campaign where we got done with the first fight and realized we had no healing among the six of us.
