She could be The Bottler. She would just throw bottles at people.

And think of the money she would save on spandex by fighting crime while nekkid!

I think I'm done for now.

Fairly sure her superpower involves puns and sarcasm.

I'm squinting at my screen as I try to finish an essay before heading to bed.

I had two whole blissful days without reading a textbook or working on an assignment.

Past week (or more) has been so busy I've kinda lost track of everything outside of schoolwork.

Sadly, or stupidly, I agreed to a schedule of classes that has no breaks in it until I'm done in February. Considering I start teaching in January, I'm going to be one busy bee.

Superhero concept: Captain Context. Is extremely useful in very specific situations.

Good morning FaWtL folk. Hope everyone is well this fine Thursday, and has a grand auld day ahead. The sun is shining and the rains are random hereabouts. Not too shabby at all, really.

Okay that's enough forums for one morning. Time to get to work.

Dark Archive

Yarrr. Game night cancelled, with an advance warning of probably cancelled next week too. Drat, drat, and double-drat! I mostly feel bad for our GM though, it means he's really being worked off his @$$.

So, I have found out that there is a Lovecraft bar on the lower east side of NYC.

Freehold, I know you're not necessarily a Lovecraft guy, but we may have to check this out.

I'm not sure I'd drink any bubble tea served at a Lovecraft bar.

And back from work...

Three weeks and a day more at work...

Mom goes to Poland tomorrow.

When you go, pay no attention to those voices in your head while you are there. I'm sure they are totally innocent.

If I owned a Lovecraft bar, I'd totally do this.

We can confirm this. Completely harmless!

Someone said something about bar?!

There is a >webcomic< I discovered today... Well, actually a few days ago but I just finished reading through existing strips.

Warning: Occasionally not safe for work (or children). Mostly swearing, consumption of drugs and alcohol with some boobs.

So one big mistake I made was not create a layout for my story.

These last few days, I've been working on fixing said issue with the time I have.

Also, some sad news. No Pathfinder this week, and I didn't get to University despite my best efforts.

I do like Lovecraft (I played up the elements in my kingmaker game) and I am in.

Looking forward to the next set of pictures. Enjoy!

Of course the one day I need to do laundry this week, the landlord has decided to lock the door to the laundry room. Awesome.

Just submitted a job application, and only after receiving the confirmation e-mail did I realize that I had listed my birth year as 1689. Everything is starting to blur together.

Good luck! I think they'll be impressed that you're 325 years old.

Got the results from the exam I sat back in June. Got 47/100, with a pass being a 50. I am less than impressed. :/

Toddler faceplants into coffee tables are all but inevitable in my experience.

If it makes young parents here feel any better my Mom had to come to school and get me when I was in 4th grade. She was somewhat surprised to find me literally covered head to toe in my own blood.

Swings; I was doing it wrong. ;)

O.O

ok, no swings until the boy is 18 or makes his Bachelor of Swings

toddler first aid class is already booked by the way

My roommate is an interesting person. Usually, he just leaves his phone in the shower, or his TV remote in the fridge. Today, though, there was a copy of "Catcher in the Rye" in the sink.

What a fake.

One credit speedbump paid and settled.

The other however has been nothing but pain. Nobody seems to have contact info for the actual person I owe, or if they do they're apparently not able/willing to give it out. Calling the number on the credit report gets me the current owners; it's been sold and the new owners have no record of the debt. Calling the credit company that gave me the report, they don't have that information. They sent me to Experion, who is apparently not able to hand out that information.

Nnng. Circles! Rargh!

Hoping I'll have some time - and brain - left this weekend to write some on the worldbuilding blog. The week I'd planned to do so got eaten by overtime hell. Cal's thread in homebrew has the gears turning again now though. Here's hoping I'll have time to do something with it before the next time-eating headache arises.

So credit company is publicly stating that you are in debt and thus untrustworthy customer but when asked to provide you with details of your alleged debt they fail to provide you with information?

Would it be possible to sue them under some sort of defamation laws?

If this something for Pony Sebastian to ponder on?

It's two different companies.

One company is the one that just produced the report. They have no further information available than what's on the report, and the phone number provided is not the number I need. They've done what they can, and have nothing else to give. (I have complaints about the amount of time it took them to get the report to me in the first place, but they've been otherwise cooperative.)

The other is a professional credit bureau, and I have no earthly clue why they can't give me the information. There was some byzantine talk about credit education course or some nonsense, then when I told the lady who answered I wasn't interested, I just wanted the information I needed, I got routed back into the phone robot again.

I'll try again when I get home, hopefully get another representative who's more cooperative, and if that fails I'll try one of the other credit bureaus.
