Or at least make sense with the kitchen. Wash, rinse, dishwasher! Mine is the exact reverse.

Today is move-out day. Hopefully move-in day is less than a month away.

I hope I haven't missed anything while I've been away on vacation (and subsequently recovering from and getting caught up because of said vacation).

To make up for my absence, here is an adorable kitten.

Yeah, that or Kahlua and coffee. Brings back memories of drinking with my ex.

Irish Bailey Cream + Kahlua + something... I think it was some sort of coffee- or cocoa- based liquor... It was drink called either Cold Kiss or Dame Of Spades... Hmmmm... I need to get back to Kraków and assemble friends in Czasem Trzeba (Sometimes One Must) pub.

Read more manga. Reading from right to left long enough makes washing up from right to left start to feel like it makes sense. At least it worked for me. I'd have trouble going back to doing the washing up left to right now. It would feel wrong. :)

So much talk of whiskey....one of those things that I really really miss. :(

Allergies suck.

My fiancee wants to get rid of our garbage disposal...says it just stinks up the place and grows bacteria...
I thought it was a marvel of the modern kitchen...

Lamontia and I have this system where we stand side by side at the kitchen sinks and then just talk while doing the dishes and soon there aren not any more dishes left to do

I do not know how it works but it just works

That's how my brother and I did it growing up. Sometimes we'd drag in a CD player so we had music.

It is a marvel of the modern kitchen...cut up a lemon and put it down the disposal. Clears up that nasty smell right away.

OT on Friday is teh debil.

I did my overtime in the morning. They had me coming in 2.5 hours early all week, and staying 2 hours after. 12 hour days, man.

Thankfully I do not have to do that tomorrow.

Ended up reading through a collection of silly quotes and funny one-liners my gaming group occasionally saves. This one is particularly relevant to Paizo:

Quote:

Scint: At some point Elegy is probably going to end up table-flipping and muttering about filigree as she storms out, threatening to use comic sans on the invitations

Wedding jitters.
Nasty business.
Orthos: filigree on all the things~
Elegy judges RPG Superstar
Scint: resplendent filigree
Orthos: made of monster parts
Scint: its true nature is revealed
Orthos: only after 24 hours attunement though
and only if you're a rogue or bard and you cut yourself
Scint: Bard who plays at midnight in the Linkin Park
Orthos: and if its a full moon, a special power is also available
Scint: There, disgusting damaging shiny joke item that requires you to harm yourself.
If it makes s'mores, we get bingo

Finally, some good news.

Working together with my wife for the first time in a while, we have procured new cell phones through Best Buy. We pick them up today. I checked with my old provider on the sly and discovered my contacts will be moving to the new phone via google. So I'll be sending a text by this evening to all the fawtls who I am in phone contact with with my new number. It's a financial downturn that may negatively affect my Otakon trip, but who needs con stuff? I can survive on the skinny for one trip.

Up early today because I'm going to another neighborhood for this class. I am looking forward to fighting the money order thing. Now for some breakfast.

mMm. Cereal and fruit. Yay.

Early September. I will be probably reserving a ticket today or tomorrow...

Oh wait, I need to do a milk run pretty soon.

Rum is the only thing I have an allergy to, which is good and bad.

Sorry to hear about your allergies. If I recall, you have a lot of food allergies. :(

I've seen a little bit of discussion about it. I will definitely check it out when I get unburied.

Good to hear. Sick babies are unhappy babies, so I'm glad he's almost done with it.

Where are you moving?

Just across town. It was time to renew the lease, but since all of our friends are on the east side of Phoenix, as is my campus, we decided to look for a new place over there. Currently waiting on the bank to fund the loan for our first house purchase.

Cool. Good luck with the move and the loan process!

I will go out with two friends tonight

we will cross the Bavarian Border ( only 15 minutes from here) and visit a nice Biergarten at a lakeside

we will drink a Weißbier or maybe a Maß Helles and maybe eat some Brez'n with Obadza or a Laibelkäs with Bratkartoffeln, a Kaiserschmarrn would be possible

Bad news. Gotta be back at Stupid O'Clock time for at least two days next week.

Gonna be so much napping this weekend it isn't funny.
