Well that was a weekend, much humidity and rain. Went over to friends to help them pack Saturday and Sunday was D&D as usual.

However, GM got grumpy with us players for dithering around: so our PC's got captured and locked up in a force cage (again)

Feel free to pass some of that along (the rain, not the grumpy GM).
My friend down south even had some green lightning on Friday. But I just got the regular stuff.
Like St. Elmo's Fire?
Not sure possibly. I was playing Mechwarrior: Online with him when he was startled by the green flash, later there was more normal forked lightning. Of course last night we were playing a bit of Warthinder & his place was getting buzzed by helicopters (well twice).
What's your handle on MWO?

DSXMachinaBurns

Lately however I've been getting a bit annoyed with the match-maker, since I usually drop as a pair with my friend - thus it only puts us against teams and therefore usually larger teams. Combine this with me being a mediocre player, playing lights/mediums that aren't the meta, or trying to grind up catapults - I've been losing alot.... which is super frustrating, especially since the rewards are terrible for losing compared to winning.

How did I miss this?!?!?

I am not on MWO, but I am a fan of Mechwarrior. Considering playing some MW3 to get past this funk.

Just did something financially stupid, but cool. A friend of mine works at a used bookstore (you can probably see where this is going), and posted on FB from work that he'd gotten some really old D&D books into the shop. Since the bookstore is only a few blocks away from my apartment, I went to check it out, and discovered that the books in question were a sixth printing of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Player's Handbook and a first printing of the Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Dungeon Master's Guide. Ended up buying them, too, at $10 apiece. Looks like I'm not going to be eating for the next week.

No, not really. It is more like sympathy booze :) Right now, I am drinking Bailey's on the rocks in your honor.

The kidlet has been kinda down lately so today we just did things that were fun for him. Mini golf, tacos for dinner, and plenty of Mass Effect time (he thinks watching me play Mass Effect is better than watching tv...go figure). He gets so lonely during summer break, and with the karate school being closed for art fair last week he hasn't been around people other than me for too many days. Hopefully today helped. Well, that and karate tomorrow evening. Hanging out with other kids should help a lot. :)

I'm coming around on spinach as of late.

I used to love spinach as a kid. Now I can't stand it. I've even tried it lightly sauteed in bacon grease and still could barely choke it down. Don't know when I last had kale, but leafy greens (vegetables in general, really) aren't on my list of favorite foods. I think my favorite vegetable would have to be green beans when cooked properly. By that I mean: fry up some bacon and onion in a pan, dump in the can of green beans (with juice) ,or use fresh beans and add some water, add a good bit of pepper, cover and let simmer until the beans are just cooked through. Eat it all up, and then drink the yummy liquid.

And now I want some.

Oh yeah, if doing a big pot of green beans, I might use a ham hock as well as bacon, and also throw some red potatoes in to boil as well. When I was a kid we would have a garden each summer and grow green beans, so some nights a big pot of green beans and taters made for a nice dinner.

Spinach is pretty good in a tomato sauce-based lasagna or a queso dip.

I like green beans too, but I've had the canned versions so much growing up that the fresh ones taste weird.

Also, any Robotech fans here may like to know about this Kickstarter to fund a pilot episode for, hopefully, a new series to continue the story. I would really like to see it succeed, but right now it looks kinda doubtful.

Good morning FaWtL folk. Hope everyone is doing well and has a good day ahead of them. It's Thursday, nearly the end of the "typical" working week. Can't come soon enough. Weather is a bit brighter today, the shades are back out, though I'm still carrying my brolly around. Better safe than sorry, I say.

Thursday means game night! Really looking forward to it. Didn't happen last week due to a busy GM, so doubly looking forward to it. :) And quite possibly a busy gaming weekend ahead, game tonight, possibly starting a RotRL game tomorrow, and board-gaming on Saturday. Fun, fun, fun! :D

Relatedly, Steam also gives out coupons every so often, so I thought I'd also list them too, in case anyone would be interested in availing of those. I'll probably add them to a new tab on the Google Doc later, but I can't access it at work, so I'll put them here for now.

Hopefully. :) No idea what I'll play in Runelords yet, a bit inspired for a grappler at the moment, but there's mostly newer players, so maybe a Bard supporter. I'll see what the party is doing at character creation.

Ah, sure, ya have to though. Can't trust it to last. Could be warm and sunny one moment, and lashing the next. Particularly if you won't have the chance to pop back and grab it if it's needed later. Hope ye have a good day. :)

They can only steal as much information from your facebook account as you enter there in the first place. If you register under nickname using e-mail created and used only for that purpose, the only information that can be acquired by them is your network of friends, colleagues, and your location (depending upon provider - for some reasons internet misplaces me, like if the provider used confusing ip for my location).

This might be software issue. I vaguely recall such issue described for some models (S3? S4? Ace I? I can't remember, it was in January when I was training to be level 1 Samsung technician)... Either the phone needs to receive flash - update of the system to the newest version of system for that model, or it could be manufacturer issue that happens to that specific model, which might be basis for exchange. Sorry but I don't remember details, and I don't know anyone at the Samsung line. I might try to ask but I can't promise anything.
