Dear Marvel Comics,

Wolverine has adamantium bones, but not an adamantium abdominal cavity. So even though his bones don't shatter when he jumps out of a helicopter from a great height it doesn't mean his guts won't blast out of his abdomen.

id pay good money to see that.

Good money.

He'd just shove them back in and carry on. Healing Factor FTW. Plus, body armour or just tight vest would keep them inside... mostly...
Can he at least land on top of Joss Whedon?

Naah. Joss is too invaluable. He's got plot armor.

I know he could reinsert his alimentary canal, but they left it out of the cartoon. I feel I was robbed.

OR,......his guts could be totally removed. He'd grow new ones, but his guts would regenerate too and become a spinoff character.

"My name is Alimentary. I'm the best there is at what I do. What I do is kinda gross." Imagine all the "Alimentary, my dear Dr. Watson" jokes. Joss would, I'd stake my watch and warrant on it.

Joss is indeed invaluable in that there is nothing I own that I would willingly trade to view his many works.

Not Even my clothes.

You are such a Sam-I-Yam.

In other news, I just picked up a new bike helmet. After a number of years, the old ones I had had fallen apart. I ordered a new special stickers and decals for this helmet, and they just shipped today. I'll probably get them in a few days. Will put up pics of helmet and stickers along with Sakura Matsuri pics.

You best to run. Hope you can outrun a lightning bolt.

New York City.

I was born in Brooklyn, which will be an independent city again if i have anything to say about it.

He might be from Brooklyn; it didn't specify. I bet he's been there though. You know, so he could experience stuff, and write it down later.

No self respecting child of Brooklyn would say they were born in plain old New York. That's a Staten island/Queens thing.

Of the four iconic Kiss members, only Peter Criss was born in Brooklyn.

On a Whedon-esque note, I am finally watching Firefly. I like it, it's very good, except...

All these planets are in ONE solar system? With multiple stars each with multiple protostars with multiple habitable moons? I know FTL is a theoretical downer, Joss, but c'mon, WTF is up with the gigantic whirligig system to allow STL to get to a bunch of worlds? I think that breaks my belief worse than FTL would. Just sayin'.

I read somewhere that it's a binary star system, and that all of the terraformed worlds are moons orbiting larger gas giants. Or something.

I also found this site, which alleges that it's a system with five stars (which, according to Wikipedia, is uncommon, but very possible).

Either way, I'm just glad they realize there's no sound in space.

I should have seen this coming. I f%$$ing hate drama, especially at the gaming table, and our new GM seems to be a drama magnet. Two sessions in, and he's getting paranoid that we aren't "respecting his authority" and that we're conspiring to overthrow him or something. Whatever. His heart's in the right place, but sometimes I just want to slap the guy and tell him that it's not all about him.

Loved fact that the series is older than some people I know.

I love the series. I have most of the ones that have had a European release. Is it really that old? This has gotten me curious about the age of certain series and characters.

Inception:
  • Donkey Kong & Mario - 1981
  • Bowser - 1985
  • Metroid, Legend of Zelda, Castlevania, & Dragon Quest - 1986
  • Final Fantasy, Metal Gear, Mega Man, & Street Fighter - 1987
  • Mother - 1989
  • Yoshi, Fire Emblem, & F Zero - 1990
  • Sonic - 1991
  • Wario & Kirby - 1992
  • Star Fox - 1993
  • Tekken & The Elder Scrolls - 1994
  • Command & Conquer - 1995
  • Pokémon, Harvest Moon, & Resident Evil - 1996
  • Grand Theft Auto - 1997

I just assumed they were moons. All the names I'd heard were ones I'd only heard outside of Firefly as moons - Ariel, Miranda, etc.

Yes, Popeyes chicken? Just thought you'd like to know a zombie has been making use of your reataurants in the Houston area....yes, its indeed a biohazard and thats why I'm warning you....no, I have no idea if hes a slow brain eating zombie or a fast cannibal zombie...yes, I AM a Residential Evil fan, my favorite movie was the third or fourth one, I'm not sure, but thats not what's important - just think of the revenue if Popeyes chicken forestalls the zombie apocalypse...Yes, I do believe he is vulnerable to shotguns, but I think an overall denial of chicken to zombies would go very far...yes....yes...no...okay, congratulations on declaring Popeyes a zombie free establishment!
