Firefly used shaky cam? Must have worked then, because I honestly can't picture it ... must re-borrow DVDs from my sister ...

I know, it would be hard to pick it with some of the thread topics that have been showing up lately.

I mean, take that one about civil engineering for instance ... ;-)

Don't even tell me somebody's badmouthing civil engineering. CE's build bridges, roads, dams, all sortsa amazing stuff. In wartime, they build 'em under fire. Anybody gots a beef with civil engineers gots a beef with ME.

More seriously, I have nothing against civil engineers in general (as you say they design some pretty damn impressive stuff). I DO have an issue with the civil engineer working on the particular project I am working on .... Arrrgh, a very frustrating man.

Meh, there are jerks in every occupation. Civil engineering is still an awesome field. Engineers can be very frustrating, I know. :)

Hang in there Puffin. I wish I could go back to enjoying that much food. I can barely handle that kind of food. I still love mashed potatoes and gravy.

willpower, lucky rolls :D, and determination to live healthy and long enough to meet most of my FaWTL brethren. And to surprise some that I have met. meeting some of FaWTLies are a reason I have the determination and drive. I know you two have it in you to get past this.

We will hold our own online PaizoCon at the same time. It'll be way better than PaizoCon (which I didn't want to attend anyway).

unfortunately not this year. Wish I could, but I am gonna be going to California for a cousins wedding at the end of may. To preempt questions, going to Hanford then probably visit some more cousins in the San Jose area.

Morning Moorluck

BTW, if Sweeden is the phallus, what does that make Germany? Or Denmark for that matter?

Not sure about Germany, but Denmark would be the inadequately sized phallus of northern Europe.

I was thinking either taint or vestigial tail. If Northern Europe had two phalluses that would be just creepy.

So I am doing a little research into a D20 Modern or GURPS game that I would like to run some time in the far future.... It revolves around Cthulhu and the conspiracy theories about the Nazi bases in Antarctica during WWII (see Operation Highjump and New Swabia), the whole premise is the players discover and fight Antarctic Space Nazis and their Elder Evil allies.

Somebody got there first - some Finnish guys are making a movie about space Nazis called Iron Sky..... . Those Finns - movies about Trolls, horror movies about Sauna's and now Antarctic Space Nazi's...

I hope the movie is a good in that great B grade Zone Troopers, My Science project kind of way.

I can go with vestigial tail.

The Finns make some interesting movies. That trailer looks like it would make an excellent D20 Modern Pulp-style/cyber-steampunk game.

Maybe Denmark is the nut-sack of Europe.

Have a good day, Its almost bed time here... I just have to finish rereading From Shore to Sea for the game on Friday and then I am off to bedd listening to a podcast before I go to sleep. Its either an Astronomy podcast about some black-holes being older than the universe or Monster Talk on Zombie Autopsies.
