I'm closer to my actual birthday than my half-birthday at this point.

I forgot to post that as of yesterday I'm 34.5 years old. HALF BIRTHDAYS RULE!

Hah! That's 2/3 of a year more than me! :p

Congratulations, old-timer. :D

Is that why you're in a birthday suit?

Hympf. Is everyone older than me*? I still need two months to reach 33.5.

Not exactly a question. I know Orthos, Scint, Shiny and Doctor Wu are younger. I am not sure about few others.

Indeed... Damn bloodsuckers!

Five days of eating fried side pork ended yesterday with the consumption of the last piece. A kilogram of tasty fatty meat (with small amount of ribs in it) for a bit over six zloty found on bargain shelf of a Tesco. *sigh* Together with free Torchlight on GOG those were small joys of this otherwise rather stressful week. And month.

For comparison:
Cheapest pork meat is around 10-12 zloty per kilo here. Better meats are 15-25. Whole chicken is usually 7 to 9 zloty while chicken legs can go as cheap as 5 to 6. Chicken livers are usually around 6, except for newly opened Tesco near me where they can be sometimes found at 4 per kilo.

I haven't mentioned that I received an e-mail from a company running computer gaming portal and game shop to which I send a job application a few weeks ago and where my Derp Heresy GM already works. They wrote that "while may application is quite interesting they picked another candidate".

It sucks they didn't offer you the job, but at least they were decent enough to let you know.

Boo. Sorry to hear that, Drejk.

They love you, though.

World War Z, saw it today and meh, it what I expected from Brad Pitt. Wait for it on DVD.

Ed Greenwood is doing a Pathfinder novel, will buy, will read. It's called The Wizard's Mask.

Postman brought by Paizo package today. Hurrah, reading material if I get a cat assigned to me tonight.

Go. See. Man of Steel. You will not be disappointed.

Well,it's bed time.

Wanted to apologize for the long absence. I've been having some serious anxiety and depression issues recently, probably triggered by my month-long job search, and as a result I've dialed way back on my Paizo/FB/phone usage. Too much interacting with people. I still check the sites, but it takes a lot out of me to say or respond to anything. I promise I'll be back at some point in the future.

It seems that aside from maybe az and ch, fawtl is going through the wringer. All I can say to this is hang in there folks. We have made it through worse one and all, and we *will* make it through this too!

I just turned 32, so you are older than me. Does that make you feel better?

Indeed. I got my crap out of the way in 2010 and 2011, and FAWTLies were a very helpful outlet. We get through this shit together!

Best wishes, Shiney, Drejk, BP, and everybody else.

Yesterday's cookout went well. I like cookouts because I get to let other people do the tough cooking. I just had to man the corn-on-the-cob and the baked beans. (My pasta salad was already prepared and in the fridge.) It was fun hosting!

Awesome combo.

Cheapest "dark chocolate bar" from Tesco... Sweet if a tiny bit chewy. Real chocolate bars that are only 0.10 more expensive are much closer to real chocolate. At least they lied at the same shelf as chocolate...

Meh. Additional unneeded stress. I'll have to go to the building's administration to revoke my agreement to the painting of the staircase. Apparently one of the three apartment owners pushed for the painting so he can sell his apartments - but it will use up all the meager reserves on the repair fund.

Revoking my agreement for the painting went much easier than I thought.

This however means I'll have to go to see my administrator, who will probably ask some questions I'd prefer not asked, like, how much I have payed this month (i.e. not nearly enough).

Obviously she asked that question, wasn't thrilled with the answer and told me to pay more in the beginning of July... I doubt I will be able to pay sensible amount (i.e. more than symbolic sum), however, with the way things are currently rolling.

Still alive.

Derp Heresy game planed today. It is still uncertain if we'll play at friend's home or doing BBQ in the garden. The storm is hanging in the air, waiting to strike when most unexpected. Well, not so unexpecte to be honest as occasional thunder is roaring from time to time and it rained whole night. I had problems with getting asleep thanks to that constant shower.

That's kind of weird to me, since nothing helps me sleep more than rain. I actually open up a rain-sound website at night and leave it running all night long. It's helped immensely.

Oh, no - there definitely a wringer involved in my life at the moment. I get through it by externalizing joy and happiness.

Heavy drinking helps.

Yeah, we weren't trying for that close, but the houses were going so fast that when Jenny noticed the sign go up "for lease" on this one she told George, who called me right away. We jumped on that shit like 5 year olds on a trampoline.
