Birdie, birdie, in the sky.

Why'd you do that in my eye?
I won't wail and I won't cry.
But I'm sure glad elephants don't fly.

...or land for that matter. :)

Nekkid and atop of a new page too.

Bumped into another cab yesterday morning, not be deal, just bump but I was suspended until I talk to the Safety Supervisior this afternoon around two.

I hope I still have a job.

Wish me luck and positive waves.

I imagine you'll just get a warning. Still, positive waves!!!

hi eveyone

I really don't need to loose this good paying job. It's hell on my sleeping hours and private time, but the pay is good.

positive waves BP, and luck

Plus I'm getting haircut this afternoon. Good-bye greying locks of curly greying hair.

Hello grey buzz.

Be careful man! I hope you don't lose your job, good luck!

oh how amuch I hate them,

thing is, almost every highway over here has an asphalted bike path right next to it, normal bikes and mountain bikes are bound by law to use them, racing cycles are allowed to drive on the highway - and usually two or 3 beside each other

I mean seriously, he called his supervisor and it didn't even set off the crash camera in my cab. I lost one-and-a-half hours fair time plus I was ordered to take the remainder of the day off. It sucks.

The day will have a silver lining after all.

The Mail Man just delivered my Paizo order.

Let's see

Invoice,

Plastic bubble wrap to torture the Wild Pack,

Gen Con card 2013 - Can't make it this year.

Ah, Ultimate Campaigns, Fangwood Keep, and Doom Comes to Dustpawn

Good reading. Later folks! The bird is going to fly!

that's just insane. Racing cycles are hella fast, but even they should be single file. Glad to hear about the bike lanes next to highways, I would love to have that on the belt parkway.

that blows. Why punish you in such a fashion? Was there a ding or damage to either vehicle?

Nope. No dings, no dents lost a whole on the road. Well I'm know soon. Catcha laters, I have books to read and a V&V character to write up.

You're not missing much. The belt parkway is actually one of Dante's circles of hell.

Ido love the greenway, which connect my neighborhood to Howard beach. Lonely stretch of road, and the bikes and cars are separate from each other.

Reminder, tomorrow is the day that the DNR will be tagging the baby falcon on top of our building. Expect things to get going at 11am.

Work is upgrading to the newest version of QuickBooks this week. Every time I load a new document, it's plastered with yellow hints and helps that go away when I click on something not yellow.

QuickBooks alert: "Click here to bring back the yellow boxes."
My immediate thought: "Oh, I've missed you, little yellow boxes! What fun we shall have together."

Feeling better now, to an extent!

My issues with bikes on the road isn't that they can't keep up with traffic, it's that they don't obey the traffic laws. We have lots of bike lanes here so it's not really a big deal in most areas, but the roads that don't have them or downtown with the bikes zipping around not obeying traffic lights....it's really dangerous. That I have issue with.

And of course the ones who ride at night in dark colors without putting any lights or anything on their bikes....

So much this. We have a bike/walking trail that cuts across a semi-main road. It has a stop sign...for the bike trail only. Not the street. Not the sidewalk. If I had a nickel for every time some yahoo on a bike sped through like they were going for a speed record, traffic and pedestrians be damned...

Well, I'd have a few bucks at least. Cyclists may not be the only traffic problem hereabouts, but they're the one I run into often enough to prompt a groan.

And then there's that one special snowflake I saw once completely ignoring the vacant bike lane and taking the center of the street.

Thing (not quite complete).

Yeah...seen a few too many rule-breakers to give cyclists the benefit of the doubt anymore. Shame, really.

Nope! Just riding down the middle of the road, not a care in the world. There wasn't even a road to turn onto for another half mile at least.

I know how that feels (although I did something fun today)

Would making a schedule help, or a check-list?

Heh. That's fine. 1st level wizards are squishy and make easy targets.

While it seems likely Araxus while survive the ordeal, if he does not it would be an opportunity to build a PC that would give the party some desparately-needed melee support. (With all respect to the wonder-halfling.)

Hmmmm looks like I need to catch up on a certain PBP.

That's pretty much every bike rider in Syracuse. Which, admittedly, isn't many, but around the university during the school year they can seem like locusts. Locusts on fixie bikes.

I thought some of the operatic/theatrical FAWTLies might enjoy this.

Quiet night.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! It's going to be a pretty day, weather-wise, here in Philly. Other than that, it's going to suck ass.

Scarab Sages

Still not sure how I'm going to get everything packed up for the move. I do know there will be more trips to the dump, as well as trips to the book drop to get rid of some old text books and novels that I'll probably never read again.

Scarab Sages

It would help if the wife actually got off her ass and did some of the few things I asked her to, but that's hoping for a miracle.

Scarab Sages

As is, she better not b!#$+ too much when I throw s%++ out that she may have wanted to keep.

Welcome to a new day started with a headache!

Don't mind me if I sound a bit sour. It should pass.

But, on to less depressing typing.....

Got the first ultrasound pics of new baby. Until we know the sex and pick out a name, we are calling it Hamburglar, due to it causing my wife to crave hamburgers. Those who do not shun Facebook may have already seen the pics.

That's ok. I'll probably be similarly sour (or angry & frustrated) from yesterday all the way through at least the beginning of July.
