In other good news, my bonus is going to be double what I was expecting. That means I can make that trip to visit my mother AND put tires on my car. Huzzah!

Well this day just keeps getting better. I got a voicemail from the company I interviewed for and they are making an offer.

The offer is about $5k less than I was shooting for, so I may have to bone up on salary negotiation techniques, but in any event... awesome!

Did you show them those nude pics I took for you? I mean how could they not pay more for that hunk of celestial beefcake?

The Exchange

Nude photography in the nude? Seems kind of redundant don't it?

30 minutes on the clock here, then game time tonight in about 4 hours.

GM, running Cry Wolf from Dng#102 for our 2cnd level group. Call me silly, but I love those first few levels more than any other.

Coolness. I'm more of a mid-levels guy myself. My Kingmaker group's just over 9th.

Good idea!

This will either get me ALL THE MONEY or a lawsuit. Either way, should be a good time.

A little lower...

I love all levels especially with my house rules increasing survivability. Still working kinks out, running into a few problems now that we're in 9th and up with skills.

I do find that since we adopted my house damage rules the higher levels are more enjoyable, less reliance on magic items and all that tend to make the characters themselves shine a little more.

My love of the lower levels stems from it being easier for me to set up unexpected encounters and challenges for them, and the excitement that comes with each early accomplishment.

Hey I'm full of good ideas.

Okay, I'm full of something... good or not remains to be seen.

Garlic makes everything better. Plus, it grows by itself. I just checked my garlic bed, and despite cold temps the bulbs I missed last fall have sprouted and there's enough to supply the kitchen for this year :)

Garlic is a necessity for any kitchen. that and onion are universal.

I ye gods, I need to find the cash for that. and the new Zombicide game expansion pack.

Yay for Lindisty!

Also yay for CH.

And garlic is awesome when it is good. I just put some into cheap (but very tasty for the product in that price range) soup improving its taste even better.

So, due to a spelling error on a sign here at work, we apparantly have a mound of angry. The sign was meant to reference the "rag pile", but instead mentions the "rage pile". At least, I think it was a typo. Perhaps the AGM has the power to feel the emotions of cleaning cloths and knows they are mad. That could possibly be the worst super-power of all time.

"Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No! It's Rag Feeling Guy!"

"We're doomed!"

So answer the door in the buff, using a cowboy hat to cover your family jewels and invite them in. Sends 'em scurrying off every time. ;)

I think that thermometer was overexposed to sun. Now it shows 5 degree Celsius.

I haven't opened them. They moved to knock to the next apartment before I checked on door and I went back to bed.

Stoopid sun!

Also there is issue with your plan, namely I don't have cowboy hat. Nor any other hat.

Off for D&D session. I might be a bit late if I miss the bus. I might be on time if I buy a bit more expensive ticket and go by tram. *sigh*

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! My wife is back in town! It's Saturday morning. I'm on my second cup of coffee. And, I had bacon for breakfast. Life is good!

Scarab Sages

I even let the wife and boy have some bacon. I am nothing if not generous.

Scarab Sages

Of course, not everything is a-ok here in zombie land. I seem to have come down with a bit of a cold. Winter's last laugh before its well deserved demise.
