15cm of snow on the ground this morning

streets not cleaned

airport stoped operating

first Autobahn was blocked by a crashed truck all morning,

second Autobahn had 40km traffic jam at one time

third Autobahn had a mass accident with 100 cars in the afternoon

thankfully we managed to get to work safe (with 1 hour dealay) and are save back home

and cleaning snow from the sidewalk is damn cold when naked

Ugh stay warm (and clothed!) aeglos.

We are having a bit of early spring here (finally). Temps in the low 50's/mid teens (Celsius)

Still cloudy, but I got my owl house mounted in my poplar tree. Hopefully I can attract the local owl to nest there. The tree is the tallest in the neighborhood at @70'/20ish M. Hard to believe I only planted it 10 years ago. I only managed to get the house up a 1/3 of its height, but I hope that will be enough for the local Glaucidii.

I just ate a ridiculously insipid "vegetable burger".

Never again.

I have a wife who is a teacher, and 2 kids in school.

I must support and declare the above statement as 'TRUE'.

Wait! I've got it!

'Santa's' bag is actually a modified bag of holding/Secret chest.
'Stuff' can be loaded in one bag at the workshop, er, fortress. And then said 'Stuff' pulled out of the matching bag wherever the carrier is traveling. Can hold large items, and can be constantly refilled by faithful staff while your on the go! :)

Same here. Spring is usually when people stop being sick, in my experience. I see much much more illness in winter.

It's also when my allergies kick in, but that's pretty much year-round for me. I get the coughy-mucusy allergies in autumn and winter and the sneezy-weepy-itchy allergies in spring and summer.

... no, that's pretty solidly been my experience for the 20 or so years of my life I can actually remember, the rest being I was too young to know and/or care. So no, not a lie.

Just because you don't like it doesn't make it untrue, just unpleasant. =P

Oh god, it's started again... Five straight hours playing Morrowind. And I'm probably going to repeat the process tomorrow. I love Skyrim, but it ain't got s$&! on TES:III:MW.
Each time I start Morrowind I reach a little beyond Balmora or Caldera and then it happens that I re-install the system or switch computer... And the Morrowind is left dead in the cold and I don't have heart to start it again for a few years.

I usually play in very intense spurts of activity. I'll play four hours a day for a month straight, and then leave it alone for a year or two. I bought the original version for Xbox in '02, played it until I finally got the Game of the Year edition in '04, imported the file, and I'm still playing the same character a decade later. I'm one quest away from finishing Tribunal, and then on to Bloodmoon. I don't know what I'll do with myself when I eventually finish the thing...

Already did my time in the plague zone. Middle schools after winter break are terrible. Spring is only an improvement - and at least you can safely GET to a doctor after the satanspawn snow is gone.

And to think, I used to like winter.

Term of the day: Coughy-Mucusy.

Maybe we can use it as a spell descriptor.

Heya Bitter Thorn. Denver was beautiful, except for the altitude and the running shots of pain from my ear, into my right arm, elbow, and fingers. Other than that, the Rockies were awesome. I thought I saw a frost giant enclave and a wispmother or two.

Oh, fungus.

I hat it when my allergies flare in the early March. They eyes turns a lovely shade of red and green. Dry ocular Christmas in the Springtime.

Is an alergy hat one with pollen and other allegens on it.

A large party will not fit in it, and a small party will not want to get out of sight of land unless they are sailors.

I think you've got it covered,... ;P

Actually, there are two different versions - the 10 footer that holds about 4 people, and the 25 footer that holds about 15 people. And one of the guys has profession sailor, so he can operate the damnable thing.

It's all good though - I've been inspired by this. Did a quick write-up for my sea-based adventure last night. And let me say: props to those D20PFSRD folks and their monster builder - it applies templates to the various monsters in a very easy way. Did some fiendish <redacted> and <redacted> last night to serve as cultists and guardians, repsectively.

Also, I'm glad to have been talked into Hero Lab - very useful for creating my <redacted> cleric of <redacted>, not to mention several of the villains for the land-based adventure.

I even bought a new folding table for the occasion. It's abour 2 ft by 4 ft. Gonna slide the dining room table over and put this one right next to it. Then I just need to get a few extra chairs.......

So, the area we moved over to in my building is right next to another code - these people are kind of cool. My wife used to be a part of this group, and still works with them closely. Anyway, they have big plastic hampers - each with decorations for various holidays.

They also have more chicks working over hear, which is kind of refreshing. It's a break from just having to work around old dudes all day.
