Goodnight, peoples, and thank you pmg.

I took melatonin for sleep for a while.

It worked real good, but I seemed to be waking up in a real good mood, which is bad because somebody or something would inevitably ruin my good mood within 4 hours of waking up, and I'd rather go into the day allready bleak the f!+& out than having my nice mood bleaked on.

If I take melatonin, it keeps me awake. Does the same thing to my mom.

I can't even look at Sudafed without getting the shakes.

Screw pills. Warm milk is best.

Greatest quote of all time, from my drunk friend who just finished his set at a rock concert:

"You know, I hate, uh, passing gas on stage. I'm like, it happens, and then I feel like an organism. You know?"

*cough-cough*
I am gone to GM today, dammit.

I should invent two more encounters/plot twists for today's session. Including at least one combat.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Another cold day here in Philly, although I think we might actually be looking at making it above freezing today. Huzzah!

Why bother with pressing juice from them? Better eat them whole. Or baked. Or braised with meat and/or onions. Or with meat and grapes. Or with meat and peaches. Or with meat and pineapple. Or meat, graps and peaches. And served with cranberries.

All of those sound good except eating whole. I have a strange allergy to raw apples. The juice is fine, and they are fine when they are baked (such as in an apple pie), but if I eat them raw my throat swells up. It makes me sad.

It's actually any fruit with a core or a pit (apples, pears, peaches, plums, cherries, etc). :(

You poor poor thing, denied the joy of eating raw fruits... :(

I still get citrus fruits, berries, melons, bananas, etc, so I have some raw fruit options left :)

Silver Crusade

I made meatballs last night. They were absolutely delicious. I should do that more often.

I'm in a similar boat, especially during ragweed season. I can hardly eat any fresh fruits or veggies then. Other times of the year, the only problems are cantaloupe, watermelon, kiwi, strawberries, carrots, bananas, and pineapple. Cooked are all fine. Go figure.

OH no, I'm saving myself for when the last season is out on DVD. I'm still DEVOURING the series I got from my mom for my birthday/Christmas. She got me everything up until this seasons premier. First season is still the best, so sorry to have lost the main actor to cancer. Forget the action, the man was an AMAZING actor. His scenes with Batiatus are EXCELLENT.

Keep this up, and you will have a swarthy gentleman caller visiting you for dinner. And Ravenloft. But mostly for dinner.

Back from session. Went smooth. No fights happened because after they finished the main part and were returning to the town it was a bit too late for starting combat encounter. The party had moderate success of convincing local nomadic tribes to not attack the town they are protecting. Few nomads even declared readiness to attack the town's enemies. And halfling warlock finally fell to to the charms of half-elven bard and slept with her.

Regretfully the witch player contacted me just before the session and told me that due to anxiety attack she can't handle being on session. She'll probably get a break from the game as she already did with the D&D campaign.

Am I again switching to night (no)life? It's 1:40 and I am cooking my dinner.

*snif-snif* I think the potatoes are ready...

*yum-yum*

A combination of city communication tickets' price, cold weather and persistent cough made me more no-lifeish this January than usual. Walking one or two hours in -5 degree Celsius is no fun when you try to cough your lungs afterwards and paying one-third of the weekly Drejk's feeding fund to avoid traveling by foot means a third of food less.
