The class is fine. What I'm not a fan of is the flavor for the Vishankya race. All of these new splatbooks coming out (ARG in particular) are causing what happened to the Realms to happen to Golarion. Lots of weird crap that doesn't fit the setting well getting jammed into every dark corner.
I hear you. If being venomous hadn't been a long-time dream of mine, I would never use this race.

And Kajehase, sacking York! Again! Well, that's mighty naughty of you, well I suppose I should either stop you....or get behind you.

Hmmm Inside man, for the looting and pillaging.

So...is that nekkid restraint, nekkid looting/pillaging, or nekkid inside man? I'm confused.

And possibly a little scared.

I read it as a nekkid man behind Kajehase.

I think using an Inside man is how we did it last time.

It's like being back in gym class. Well, the showers after gym class. The water was either near-boiling or close to freezing, so we had to line up and run through them...

It was a neat archetype. Perhaps I should at least get the pdf earlier than I'd planned - is there more flavour to it in the book, though? The PRD text seemed fairly generic.

Speaking of falling-- one of my petty gripes about Skyrim is that, unlike other games in the series, where falling caused X damage for X distance fallen, has a threshold where if you fall X feet, you insta-die. The Dragonborn, uniter of Skyrim, able to take on a dragon singlehandedly, is taken down by a fifteen-foot drop. One more issue from the broken physics engine that also brought you:
- Horses climbing up 70* slopes
- Dead bodies jiggling across the floor in circles
- People getting stuck inside doors
- Dragons freezing in midair, then spinning in circles
- Slain enemies sliding down >20* slopes at incredible speed
- Powerful blows causing you to be thrown hundreds of feet into the air
And so on.
I think much of this has been patched, though I did get stuck in a door for quite awhile this week. And my horse has stood on its head sliding down some slopes. I do miss the elk raining from the sky once the giants have golfed them. *sigh*

Unfortunately, my processor and hard drive can't really handle anything more complicated than Photoshop, so I'm stuck with the Xbox versions of both TES III and TES V. Fewer bugs, but also no patches.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk. And, yes, it is 0550 where I am and I have been up for about an hour already. Thank you, Charlie!

Scarab Sages

Not sure why, but the last few mornings have seen the kid waking up around 0440. Might have to start forcing him to stay up a bit later.

Scarab Sages

Gonna be a long day.

Scarab Sages

Now I gotta go plug the phone in.

Good morning FAWTL!

Speaking of pirate-y goodness, don't forget that time is running out to get in on Razor Coast! It's funded, so the book is coming out, but there are some cool stretch goals to achieve, and Frog God Games always puts out an excellent product.

Already kicked in for that. Debating upping to get Heart of the Razor, but I'm in.

Yeah I dropped the extra $40. I am hoping for the Hero Lab addons now.

I am thinking of running some games (including one of the Heart of the Razor modules assuming it's ready) at PaizoCon this year if anyone here is going. Send me a PM, and we shall see if there is any interest.

Paizocon is still organized on the wrong side of the world...

Start a EuroPaizoCon! Heck the Brits have theirs.

I remember reading when a few board posters decided to get together and make the first 'Paizocon' in 2008. It was a very shoestring affair, and look at it now!

I won't promise to take pictures at PaizoCon, because, frankly, I suck at remembering to take pictures. I will be there, though, and I will blog some things on Mairkurion's site.

Given what I already planned to add to my next STAP game it's going to come out as "Serpent's Savage Razor Skull Coast Tide" =D

I also like that the Paizo subscription order system is smart enough to ask me what issue I want to start with (Reign of Winter 1). They've got some smart folks working there.

It blows my mind that I have every AP. And that we just had #66 released.

What is the approx. P&P for adventure paths to the UK?

DSXMachina wrote:

Obviously I don't know what it is for the UK, but my December shipment to Sweden (Adventure Path, Player Companion, Pathfinder Tales, Pathfinder Campaign Setting) ended up with a shipping cost of $14,94 - whatever that ends up being in pounds... £7,50?

Thanks, for that Kajehase.

That plus evil bank charges that puts it over £10. Probably best to pick them up from FLGS or in a sale, maybe.

More like £10 at current exchange rates.

Liverpool is making canary mincemeat! Henderson! Suarez! Sturridge! (3 in 3, so far) Gerrard! Sterling (sort of)!

Owen! ...wait, he plays for Stoke these days. Darn!

And you told me six characters was too many to have ready.

15 months, good for him. He deserves it. Although comparatively speaking he has a Hall of Fame career. Better than Alan Smith :(

My collection is much smaller. Just Carrion Crown and Jade Regent at the moment, but I'm excited about Reign of Winter and want to make sure I have the whole thing.

Yeah, it's a bit weird that you think a player who's won the Ballon d'Or has had a slightly disappointing career. And yes, poor Alan Smith.

You might be interested to know that Joss Whedon is working on the Spelljammer movie.
