Weird. I dreamed Robin Laws was trapped in a phone booth while the horde and I tried to get at him. Then we did.

Scarab Sages

Nekkid horde action!!!

I see.... Was there slow motion running and smoldering looks into each others eyes in this dream?

Nope, more like building a channel for water through a... I don't know what that was... A castle? A military base?

If they've got horns they're probably just hockey-fans. Watch out for the ones in black shirts with the letters "AIK" and the ones in blue shirts saying "Djurgården" - they're not really housebroken yet.

I am listening to a lot of Jethro Tull.

Never a bad thing.

Hey aqualung!

Not-nice script that opened unwanted tabs appeared again. Cleaning the browser cache and updating all add-ons seems to warded it off, for now...

Good to see you. And don't tell them which pieces of information about Norway I've told them aren't actually true.

Of course, some people like to impale butterflies on pins and keep them in glass cases, so maybe that isn't the best analogy.....

And it's somehow still better than working retail over the holidays.

Short workday today, but still work.

Beats my sister though, she has to work 3rd shift on the first.

Nothing to do on New Year's Eve. Maybe I should just resort to celebrating new year's eves every other year?

Sissyl,
if you become a regular you will be the 6th Euro-FaWtL

hm, strange thing is: I, in the middle of Gremany, am the southernmost euro-FaWtL

*looks on maps*

Frankfurt is a tiny bit further north than Krakow, so if you live north of Frankfurt I will be probably be the southernmost, if you live to the south of Frankfurt then you are almost certainly the southernmost euro-FaWtL.

Scarab Sages

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy New Year's Eve! I hope everyone has safe and fun day!

Scarab Sages

Enjoying my second cup of coffee at my parents house this morning.

Apparently everybody decided that today would be a good day to call in sick. I wish I had gotten that memo...

Sorry to here that CH. (although New Years eve is a shocking time to be ill, they won't be able to get drunk tonight)

Likewise here in Texas.

Great to see you, Bitter Thorn.

I don't like coffee, so I will continue to drink my Diet Coke. :)

And I hate it when people send an email to our group like this:

"There was this report you guys did one time? for our biggest client? Yeah, they want you to report on those things again? I don't have a list of the things you need to report on. I can't provide you with any information on what kind of report it should be. But it's really important and time sensitive. Can you get on that for me? Thanks!"

I was great seeing you again also!

That email could has been in Office Space.

Happy last day of 2012!

Had a weird dream last nite. I was asked to plan the security plan to protect a school from a zombie apocalypse. Not sure how it came out.

I get that a lot.

Customer: I got this great report last year. Could I get it again?
Me: What was on the report?
Customer: All the figures for the 401k.
(That describes any report we would issue...)
Me: Could you be more specific?
Customer: I don't know, it has participants and balances and distributions on it.
(Not helping.)
Me: How about you send me a copy of last year's report and I use that to get you one that is like it?

Did you prepared some defenses against insidious AberCharlie?

Why is it I have a dozen ideas for items now that it's too late for submission and couldn't find anything decent for Superstar when there was time?

Well, Max showed up to work only to find that the company had been sold to a Chinese pinball machine manufacturer who subsequently replaced all the employees with anthropomorphic pinball machines. Meanwhile, Steve's visit to Texas took a dangerous turn when he showed up at a gathering with salsa made in New York City. And, across town, Scott continued to search for that one, perfect.......No, wait! That's my soap opera!
