So does this.

Naked Game of Thrones? Kind of goes without saying...

I'LL GO INFLATE THE DRAGONS!

I still think you should go take George Lucas hostage and make him film your version.

Also, weren't you going to do a Star Wars PbP at some point?

Good morning FAWTLY Folk! Happy Wednesday? I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Scarab Sages

I don't expect mine to be. Day=wonderful, that is. Despite the absolutely beautiful morning (sunny and 60s).

Whenever I come back from a trip home, some douchebag at work (cough, cough boss) conspires to make my first few days back miserable.

I accept this, however, and fortify myself with the knowledge that I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and (gosh darnit) people like me.

Scarab Sages

I also fortify myself with beer.

Scarab Sages

Mmmmm.....beer.

Scarab Sages

All in all, it was good to visit home again. I had some crawfish, and some gumbo. My brother and I went to a movie. I got to meet my new niece.

About the only thing I didn't get was a snowball.

Scarab Sages

Not really looking forward to work today. I think I forgot to turn on the "out of office assistant" on my email. Not to mention my email has been just his side of "over the size limit" for about a month or so. Every time I clean it out and give it some breathing room, some douchebag sends me a huge file attachment.

Scarab Sages

All righty folks. Almost at the evilbadplace. You folks have a great day!

Mroph!

sips coffee and peruses the forums before diving into work

G'morning, FAWTLfolk. It's a glorious day here, and I'm wishing I didn't have to be stuck at a desk all day. How's everyone?

Pizza! Pizza! Pizza, Pizza, PIZZA!!!

NoScript ate it for me so I didn't bother further examination.

Alright. Just got into work, got breakfast and caffeine. Going to be a short two hours then I'm taking off for the funeral, be gone until ~1:30 or so then back to work.

Sweaty, hungry, and sleepy - but I have a pizza in the oven, a working water supply, and a comfy bed, so yay me!

It sounds like I left my old place of employment just in time. Turns out the new owner hasn't paid his franchise fees for about 6 months, hasn't paid the previous owners a few thousand dollars he owes them, is paying the utility, phone, internet, and tv people just enough to not get disconnected, and the checks he gave to the various contractors to renovate the lobby all bounced. Not sure how much longer that place will be open unless he gets his act together.

Ugh. I bet this type of stuff happens with frequency. Glad you got out of there!

my lady, I believe the proper term is 'pegasister'. And I'm going to bronycon at the end of the month.

Hmmm, not the answer we might normally see to a "What is best in life?" question, but a good answer nonetheless.

Actually, I would love to get a joss Whedon action figure for Xmas. I would relive the dramatic adventures of my childhood, where my action figures would explore alien worlds (the insides of vaccum cleaners), fight monsters (get gnawed upon by the neighborhood stray dog), and be tortured by their enemies (blown up by firecrackers).

Well, I support Whedon...and I support fire...

Well I like many things Whedon has done, yet I am unsure that we should be making action figures of him.

I mean seriously?

Scarab Sages

Opinions FAWTLY Folk - should I even bother to sign up for the PaizoCon Lottery? I didn't really see anything on the list that was blowing my skirt up, except maybe for two events: one hosted by James Jacobs, the other hosted by Liz Courts.

Can't hurt. If you get one of the ones you don't want, you can always pass/hand it off to someone else right?

Yay, done with massive stack of reprints. Now to burn an hour on normal work before leaving.

Or, trade it for beer!

Dark Archive

Beer good. Get beer. Oh yeah, hello.

Hi there new person.

Alright, time for me to head out. Be back as a sniffling, sputtering wreck in about two hours or so.

Silver Crusade

Morning, all. What did I miss?

Management keeps giving me prizes. Good ones, too. It's crazy, because I don't feel like I'm that good at my job, but apparently they do.

I think it comes down to the fact that I am somewhat uncomfortable talking on the phone, but apparently I don't come across that way to others. Whatevs. I'm takin' all the prizes.

Liberty's Edge Contributor, RPG Superstar 2012

Yay for prizes! Enjoy them, CH.

Good morning, everyone! Welcome back, Chris.

"To devour the pizzas of your enemies, fluff the downy pillows of their beds, and listen to the lamentations of their women as you hog the bathroom while you shave a week's worth of face-beard."

*Does not actually sport a week-old face-beard*

It's a neck beard, isn't it?

I hate talking on the phone as well.

Celestial Healer wrote:

Turns out I confuse my neck and face when I've been for 20 hours. Good thing I didn't try shaving yet - not sure if I could explain why I'd done a moustache-pattern on the neck.

doctor_wu wrote:

Talking on the phone is not my favourite mode of communication, either.

I ask myself the same thing.

I rather be flexible where to go and what to do, especially since Sabine is not a gamer and I want to go into Seattle with her and have time to meet you guys and maybe do some FaWtL gathering, maybe at that black raven brewery or the Seattle International Beerfest

I set m hope on entering a opeN PS game or find someone to game on the fly

Finally moving books and stuff onto Amazon.com. More to come.

actually I never went *that*far, but looking back... I'm a bit worried. Maybe I was a bit destructive?
