After a rather unclimatic battle with Adimarchus the campaign is finished!
It's been just under year and a half since we first started, and overall everyone had a great time.
I would say that this isn't the sort of campaign that a DM can just pick up and run, it takes a lot of extra work (which tbh I didn't do enough of). There are a lot of NPC which players just couldn't remember after a couple of months of absence. I also beleive a lot more foreshadowing is needed to build up to the dramatic boss fights (You don't see or hear much about the individual Cagewrights before you have to kill them). By the time we got to the last couple of chapters everyone was feeling a bit drained & just wanted it to end.
It had it's good ponits, especially some of the battles! In my opinion, this campaign could be one of the most amazing games ever if you get to run it a second time.

Congrats on finishing the AP. I agree that the campaign can use some / a lot of extra work to make it run smoother. Luckily there are a lot of good suggestions in these boards to do that.
I am impressed to see that you finished it in a year and a half. It took my group close to four years, although I added a lot of extra material and I made extensive changes to the last couple of chapters, even skipping some of them completely and replacing them with alternative homebrew adventures.
Still, if you're willing to invest the time, you can make any adventure 'more amazing' for your group. You know what your group likes, so customizing the material to your own and your players' taste is always recommended. You don't need to run the same AP again to do that, you can use any of pathfinder's APs. Just choose one you like and make your own version of it. I feel that would be more fun for you as well than just running the same AP again. You can use the experience from this campaign to be an even better DM next time.
So congrats again to you and your players. I hope you guys have lots of fun playing more adventures or APs in the future.

Same happened to us. Only we just stopped playing on chapter 10. DM didn't put in any extra work and we were just going through the encounters killing baddies left and right. We played for about 3.5 years due to schelduing issues.

Why was it unclimatic?

Thanks all. :)
The unclimatic end battle was no fault of paizo's. My group was full of powergamers who were over-buffed for the encounter. Adimarchus couldn't do much to them, and likewise they had a hard time getting through his own defences. Most things on both sides would either miss, fail to get through SR, or just get foiled by a saving throw...

I'm wondering. Did you use 3.5 or PRPG ? Because with his blasphemy spell-like abilities at caster level 30, it's a automatic kill for 20th level characters, baring silence effects or SR.
Also his Implosive Strike should be a DC 38 accroding to the rules, so it's pretty high, and since he can use it 3 three times after he strikes. Since I'm currently DMing it, I'm wondering how my PCs will survice this.As for the foreshadowing, I'm not sure it is entirely the problem. The 3 last adventures are fairly standard dungeon crawls, without much originality. Which is not good after all the preceding adventures.
