Up on the wall, about two feet about the body was blast hole and faint smoke still rose from it.

"All right, Officer Hope," he said sternly. "Now tell me the truth!"

Data noticed that one of the shell casings had banana residue upon it. In addition, next to the blast hole was a small amount of fecal matter. The unmistakeable odor of simian excitement pheremone was hanging in the air. Combind with the fact that Officer Hope was in charge of the ship's zoo's primate exhibit and the answer was obvious.

Officer Hope trained space monkeys to kill her husband.
