Oracle Life Mystery shouldn't bonus spell at 4th class level be a 3rd level spell?

After adjusting the levels per the errata on the Oracle Life Mystery (APG48), the oracle gets neutralize poison at 6th level. But that is a 4th level cleric spell (APG implies spell levels are the same for Oracles and Clerics), which Oracle's can't cast until level 8.

So is this a mistake, or does the Oracle get a spell at 6th level she can't cast, or is Neutralize Poison 3rd level for an Oracle?
(or I am just misunderstanding something).

I searched the forums for this but couldn't find it.

I would say it is a 3rd level spell for oracles with the life mystery. As a reminder, some domain spells are a different level than normal.

OK, interesting.

That brings up a more general question I have, which is:

Is it written down somewhere that position (at what class level you get them) in a bonus spell list determines the spell level?

I see a similar situation with the Witch, where the Witch spell list is sorted by spell level, but the patron spells don't explicitly state what level those spells are (just at what class level you get them).

Thanks for the reply.

I'm confused about this too. The APG Says the Odd #'s Levels, but the PRD says Even....

My Haunted Life Oracle casts Neutralise Poison as if a Druid (3rd level spell) just like she casts Levitate and Teleknesis as if a Sorcerer. Not sure what will happen when she gets Mass Heal early.

The life Oracle gets neutralize poison as his bonus 3rd level spell. Oracle bonus spells land in slots equal to the highest level spell that the oracle can cast at the time. A 6th level oracle can cast 3rd level spells, ergo, it's a 3rd level spell. This isn't spelled out anywhere, but understood. And remember that classes do occasionally get spells earlier than each other. At what level does a druid get neutralize poison and flamestrike, respectively, to use an example. These are bonus spells that happen to exist on the main spell list of the class, but it's not that odd.

Well the Odd thing is the Discrepency. Odd Levels in APG, and on Paizo's Website PRD it's Even.

It's even levels in my APG (which matches the PRD).

APG with Oracle bonus spells at odd levels might be earlier printing that was subject to errata which is included in current PRD (IIRC PRD contained life spells at odd levels some time ago but was changed to match the errated APG).

The levels of bonus Oracle spells resemble bonus Domain spells - and those can vary spell level from the norm.
