Rules Questions

I am working on posting a duelist build and I ran into a couple questions about the parry ability.

1. Can it be used if you provoke an AOO? (such as by being tripped with greater trip)

2. Can it be used on your own turn from an AOO? Say you use a full attack and forgo your first attack and use your second to make a disarm maneuver without improved disarm.

Edit: side question, wounding weapons say they stack with themselves so thats all good, but does it stack with other bleed damage?

At any time after giving up the attack (required in order to use parry), the duelist can use parry, including against AoOs, whatever the reason.

Bleed damage by default doesn't stack, so if a target would take bleed damage from a wounding weapon or bleed damage from another source, the target takes the damage that is greater.

Quick quibble Tom: Bleed damage of the same type doesn't stack -- if you were bleeding HP and bleeding Con though you would take both effects each round (until healed/cured/whatever).

Other than that small piece: What Tom said.

I concur with this quibble.
