How much for the drider in the window?

What would the cost be to purchase a drider or have a drow turned into a drider?

Since driders are sentient it would probably be considered a form of slavery and therefore an evil act, but to answer the question, that is up to the DM.

Or are you asking the question to try and gain a handle on the economy of a Drow type city?

Short answer: Hire a 15th level wizard to cast Polymorph Any Object on your drow, or buy it as a scroll. Viola, instant drider. Won't be cheap though, and probably not easy to find either.

Shorter answer: It's up to your GM on availability.

The party is made of drow, demon worshipers, and combinations of the previous two. Little slavery would not even make our naughty list.

So we were thinking a few nice slaves will make us look a little more important but cannot find how much our spider drow will set us back.

Check out either book 4 or 5 of the Second Darkness AP. It talks about how to create a drider and might even go into detail of how and how much. Sorry, don't have the books with me here at work to look for you.
