I was having a lot of fun running PBPs before a big family/computer meltdown. Family issues have stabilized a bit, but my computer is still hosed. I think I've found a work around and would like to give it a shot again. One of my players has taken over my Kingmaker game and is doing a great job. I also wouldn't want to take that over to find out this method won't work for me and have to trade back...
Anyways, would 3-4 people care to join a Crypt of the Everflame PBP. Core and APG races and characters, 20-pt buy, 2 traits, looking for some character concepts for a balanced party. It might spontaneously collapse, or be totally awesome. Hence the need for guinea pigs.
I can get more information for the town as needed.

I have an idea for either an Elven Rake or Swashbuckler Rogue (based on party build) - the basic background being that he has gotten himself into hot water with the powers that be in Kassen and hoping to redeem himself with the glory of claiming the Everflame. He's impetuous, brash, and frequently talks himself out of trouble, if only barely.

I would be interested in joining. I have a character I used in a "Master of the Fallen Fortress" PbP that fizzled before its completion; I could modify her to suit the background/character creation requirements of this adventure. This is Lycia Kaeyl's profile, as of yet un-updated. She's a human enchanter that uses social finesse along with her arcane talents.

MoFF is a good module. I ran two groups on these boards. One completed it and the other got to the second to last room. We had a blast.
Here's the thread for the one that completed. If you guys want a look at my play style.

Yeah, I enjoyed MotFF while it lasted! Our GM had some personal issues IRL (as I recall); it never resumed after that. No hard feelings, though! :)
Not to be creepy, but I used to keep up with SdF's Kingmaker before I finally got into a PbP; the party's dynamic and the way you ran it intrigued me into wanting to try it for myself. I thought that thread rocked (that is, until my own real life took my time away, back then)! I haven't read it in awhile (been running my own Kingmaker, via tabletop), since the end of summer.

Not creepy at all, I love hearing that people who didn't even play the PBP enjoyed reading it! We're still going, only Corso is at the reins now and I'm playing Tuck as a PC.
I'm going to try using Google Document Drawings for Battle Maps this time. In theory they should be a lot easier to update and link to. My Mac Mini sucks bits and so trying to use a real art program, even Inkscape, is out of the question.

Well that's four. If anyone else is interested don't be shy just in case someone doesn't work out.
Head on over to SdF's EoF OOC and let's make you all some characters.

Hey Jelloarm, we're getting started over in the OOC thread if you care to join us.
I'd like to get the actual game started before the start of the week if possible.

Hey SdF - sorry, I left town for the weekend, and got back significantly later than expected, only getting back to a computer this morning. I completely understand having filled my slot and moving on - I'd have done the same in your shoes. Good luck with the game!
Anwyllia |
submitting Anwyllia a ranger in a crypt adventure who tanked after the first room of the crypt (:
Anwyllia is a young girl who is more used to being alone in a forest than in social situations . She has been mainly educated by her father , her mother having died when she was quite young .
She does not speak much but sees the quest for the flame as an honor and as a way to be more accepted by her peers
