Hey Thea,
can you link the warhorn site so we get out of towners registering on that in addition to registering for the con? Also put the info from the googles groups post i made. thanks!
Following the intrepid Todd's orders:
Hello Pathfinders!
PFS for Gamicon has been loaded onto the Gamicon Warhorn site,
Warhorn link.
You also need to register for Gamicon here first: Gamicon Registration.
If you sign up on Warhorn, but fail to register for Gamicon, you
probably won't be able to get into the gamer area, and your spot will
be forfeit to someone with a badge. I believe you will still be able
to register at the door, however pre-reg is less expensive.
We are pleased to offer the GenCon battle interactive Saturday night,
so if you can only make one day of Gamicon, I would recommend
Saturday. We are offering both low level and 5-9 level mods.
Any questions? Post 'em

If you'd like anybody to help man a PFS character-building station, I'd be happy to do so.
I think we have 5 hours slotted for each scenario (like GenCon) so there should be plenty of time between sessions to do character building. I'd rather of new players play the *gasp* pre-gens than prevent them from playing due to character building.
If we have the same setup as last year, we'll get you a table that you can put your stuff at betwixt sessions and I'll point new players your way.

I moved out of Iowa in 2008, otherwise, I'd be happy to split. This is a good crew, I had fun the two sessions I ran with them. (It's my fault that the characters never got registered, not theirs!)
AdAstra -- not sure where you are now, but if close we'd love to have you again :) We have several out of staters coming this year I think -- MI, IN and possibly SD so if you're anywhere near there could possibly be carpool or caravan arrangements (not that I'm offering for anyone actually coming)

I'm in Milwaukee, now, and may be going to Con of the North as a guest on the same weekend.
But I can recommend that people go to this con - it's a nice small con, and you guys run a good session of Pathfinder Society.

Con of the North falls on the subsequent weekend this year, AdAstra. They're not in conflict.

Ah, I remember the Gamicons of yore, when the convention was held at the National guard armory -- during a blizzard. Nothing in the word compares to seeing Sean's face as he stared out into the wild white torrent of snow, when suddenly Dan appeared, snow-encrusted, wearing his hawaiian shirt and shorts.
Kids these days don't know how good they've got it.

Lol .. I remember the amory .. that was where my first ever gamicon was held ... back the year that 3rd ed was being introduced. I was completely freaked by all the people as it was also my first con ever.

I need to re-prep! Reread the modules, print new chronicles, update the hand-drawn maps, make sure all my hand-outs are accounted for, group minis, and develop secret plans for Bob's destruction.

Got back last night from Gamicon, must say they did a bang up job. Sat from 8am thru until about midnight playing 3 rounds and can proudly say I am a second level Rogue. Even though they tried their best to kill me in the "Year of the Shadow Lodge", but I am proud to say I still stand today, even though they did knock me unconscious.
So thank you once again to all who worked so hard to get Gamicon set up and running smoothly, I know me and my friends all had a very good time. Keep up the great work.
