Sure, you get disintegrate for a 6th level spell, but that's it.

You see, my major problem with the Magus is that there isn't a feat or class feature that allows it to convert any spell in a melee touch attack. Why isn't there something that allows the Magus to convert single-target spells like Flesh to Stone or area spells like Fireball or Cone of cold into a melee touch attack so it could be used with Spellstrike ? That could be far more useful than just limiting it to melee touch attacks and then to ranged touch attacks, especially since like I said the list is lacking. For instance, where's Polar Ray ? Just give it as a 6th-level, and no harm done.

Geez... that's probably all the Magus needs to be a great class. The Magus might probably have a better melee attack bonus then a ranged attack bonus or a spell DC, so might as well amp up the possibilities that uses a melee atack roll and give the Magus the possibility to convert any spells into melee touch attacks.

Furthermore, it wouldn't be broken, because Spellstrike targets only one creature, so you have to decide if you'll hit at 90% chance a single target for maximum damage or target multiple ones for a 50% chance of minimum damage ?

Don´t really see your point here buddy.

I mean the spelllist could use some more fitting spells, but with intensify spell and the close range arcane I feel pretty much everything is covered when if commes to spellstrike.

The reason why I currently against allowing to use flesh to stone as a touch range spells the following:

Why should it give you another swing, if the effect of the spell still gives a saving throw? I really don´t see the need for such an ability here.

On the other hand, if you could use a spell storing weapon with level 6 spells it would be pretty much what you suggested.
JiCi wrote:Banpai wrote:No.
