Order #1561853 - in two shipments?

I recently placed an order (#1561853) of six items to be shipped. I just received two emails, each with the same order number, and each saying that a package is about to be sent. The first email said that one of the items is about to be shipped in a package, and the second email said the remaining five items are about to be shipped in a package.

Is there a reason for this? I'd much rather they all come in one package. If they've already been sent, I suppose there's nothing that can be done (although an explanation would be welcome), but since the emails said they're about to be sent, I thought I'd ask.

By the way, both emails were sent on Wednesday, December 8. The first was sent at 2:50pm, the second one at 3:03pm.

Generally, if your order gets split into multiple packages, it's because one of the items is oversized and won't fit in our standard packages, or because you have too many items for the box sizes that we use. I'm not 100% sure which one of these is accurate in your case, but I think it might be the former, not the latter. We do try to ship everything in one package as often as possible though!


That explains it, especially since the one item being sent on its own is a boxed set. Thank you, Liz!
