A creature with tremorsense is sensitive to vibrations in the ground and can automatically pinpoint the location of anything that is in contact with the ground. Aquatic creatures with tremorsense can also sense the location of creatures moving through water. The ability's range is specified in the creature's descriptive text.
It seems logical that you would have to be touching the ground to use tremorsense, yet that is not states. Would an oracle with Lure of the Heavens (who can levitate six inches off the ground at will) and Tremorsense (from the Deaf curse) need to be on the ground to use tremorsense?
It does not seem right to have a creature using tremorsense while 20 feat in the air, but it also seems wrong to say that two class abilities that were not obviously constructed as an either/or choice can't be used at the same time.

D&D doesn't always make physics sense.
I'd allow it.
and If necessary, I'd fluff it that the Oracle is more sensative to Vibrations in the air (sounds, sympathetic vibrations from people moving, etc). SO they can pinpoint people walking, things digging, etc.
though it wouldn't make sense cause then you'd be able to tremor sense things flying, /shrugSkylancer4 |

@James
I've just read tremorsense in the Bestiary and it actually doesn't state that you need to be touching the ground (as much as it might make sense that you should be) so by RAW, it works even if you are floating off the ground, all that matters is that the opponent you are attempting to sense is on the ground and within your tremorsense range.@Karjak
What you just described "fluff" wise is blindsense though, not tremorsense ;)
Tremorsense (Ex) A creature with tremorsense is sensitive to vibrations in the ground and can automatically pinpoint the location of anything that is in contact with the ground. Aquatic creatures with tremorsense can also sense the location of creatures moving through water. The ability’s range is specified in the creature’s descriptive text.

@James ... doesn't state that you need to be touching the ground (as much as it might make sense that you should be) so by RAW
I mixed up the answer in my post. It should have been RAW No. But I was answering "does it work despite not touching" in my mind (and post) so I said RAW Yes.
Which is why I said D&D doesn't make sense.

Would
Lure of the Heavens protect me from being
tremorsensed on first level?
I am thinking about one level dip into oracle with this mystery.
A creature with tremorsense is sensitive to vibrations in the ground and can automatically pinpoint the location of anything that is in contact with the ground...
Your connection to the skies above is so strong that your feet barely touch the ground. At 1st level, you no longer leave tracks...
