Strange wording that Odin used. Is there currently a god playing in the sandbox ?

As I recall, Giant in the Playground was a phrase used in Babylon 5, which Burlew is a big fan of.

A large plot arc was two different cosmic level species fighting each other with human collateral damage.

Right now all I recall is that Thor better make sure to drop his hammer for some righteous clerical smiting of undead.

Who do you serve? Who do you trust?

Never watched Babylon 5. I do remember it had that dude with the awesome hair cut.

Some similarities to that.

You mean the 'I'm not saying it was aliens, but it was aliens.' haircut.

IT did that thing again where it moves my post above the one I was replying too.

"I'd like to live just long enough to be there when they cut off your head and stick it on a pike as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price. I would look up into your lifeless eyes and wave... like this."

My favorite character on that show.

Yeah, Vir was awesome. I didn't think much of him when he first showed up, but when he said that line to Morden it showed me that there was more to the character.

I miss Babylon 5.

Liberty's Edge

I liked him from the start

Elric:
You don't frighten easily.

Vir Cotto:
I work for Ambassador Mollari. After a while, nothing bothers you.

Liked Garibaldi very much too

Stop! Hammer time! ;)

My favorite scene was when Marcus and Stephen were stuck together on a transport.

Marcus: You haven't heard me sing...

Stephen: NO!

Marcus: I am the very model of a modern major general, I've information vegetable, animal, and mineral...

Stephen: *Screams of agony*

He has taped his cameos for the next couple of movies? But, beyond that, I don't know.

I'm pretty sure we'll get a Stan Lee cameo if only because it wouldn't be funny otherwise.

I mean we got it for Gary and Arne. Why not Stan?!

This is why I prefer Proteans over Slaadi. :p ;)

Grroooosssssss.

Wait, how many times will a Slaadi tadpole need to chew its way out of someone that it's a skill that needs to be learned?

Unless it's a religion thing, used in place of the term "birth".

"Accept Slaad Jesus into your life and chew your way out anew!"

But have you ever tried Slaad legs? delicious. Also 50% chance they impregnate you.

‘No, the tadpole needs to learn to chew its way.’

God Bless Rich Burlew.

Or Durkon's player's younger sibling came to game night, and they had to give him something to play.

I wonder at what age a dwarf hits legal drinking age in dwarf society. I'm thinking about whenever they can pick up the mug.

I believe that the parents put Good Dwarven Ale into the sippy cup before then.

Mage,

Well it doesn't help that we have Cthulhu and his crew waiting on the Material Plane waiting to eat stuff...

I like that she covers the baby's eyes.

Really, the baby goes through a whole arc of his own.

1 person marked this as a favorite.

The baby is Groot.

Also damn.

I'll take that as a no.

It might even be. "I'll need to think about it..."

I do admit I expected this from the title onwards :) And something I could any of my Players doing, so much for my groups internal Dynamics ...

I understand where Durkon is coming from, but I feel like since Hilgya is the wronged party, she should have had the opportunity to speak first. And the "I'll help you change who you are" probably isn't going over well.

Man dwarf greed starts early.

They do get a racial bonus to identify gems, right?

Thor should appreciate that burn.

Best response to a complete load of bull-product I've ever seen. Mealy-mouthed, condescending, little hole-scrounger.

Does "Murder" lose some of its weight when you can argue that it was really "Murder with the intent to Raise?"
