For this build would I be better staying with the ranger beast master for 6 levels or going with Shadow Dancer? This is a pathfinder society character. I am at level 3 now. I will be boosting Str at level 4 and Dex at level 8, and lastly Wis at level 12.

I would get the animal at 8, but the shadow would be stronger when it comes the hp and being able to hit.

But you would be weaker, but i suppose you can hide much better.
I say stick with your base class - but if we were talking 3.5 my answer would be different.
