I'm a little upset...

I have had monthly shipping selected for many months now. Last week you sent me Misfit Monsters. This week your sending me the new map product. I would appreciate it if you guys would credit me one of the two shipping charges for my next shipment. Which should be in December.

Maybe you guys go by "time placed", but I think it would be best if you go by the "shipped" date. That is what I have always assumed it was, the ship date.

So maybe this was just something your system just doesn't catch. Either way, both these products shipped in November, and my shipments are supposed to be held and shipped once a month. So I hope my request to credit me this second shipping cost on my December shipment is reasonable.

Misfit Monster was technically Octobers shipment. Even though you might of got it in November.

But of course they'll answer you officially.

I think it goes by the day the shipment first starts to ship. Since it often takes them a week to get all the orders done. It is very possible for them to start at the end of one month and finish at the beginning of the next. That would be my guess on what happened here.

That sounds likely.

Meh!

I got an adventure path installment sent to me, and now they're shipping me a companion alone. I don't want it to be sent alone. It's not supposed to be sent alone. They are supposed to keep it until they ship the next AP. Something is wrong with there system.

I think the adventure paths for last month finally showed up from the printers on the last day of last month and thus shipped early this month.

Meanwhile, the map pack that was scheduled for late this month arrived early and so is shipping mid-month.

It would be nice if there were a "hold for bi-monthly shipment" or "hold to ship with next adventure path or other book to qualify for book rate shipping" option.

thenorthman is correct: due to a delay in customs, the October shipment (with Misfit Monsters) went out during the last days of October and the very beginning of November, and the November shipment is going out this week.

While we try to target all of our shipments for the first half of each month, shipping and customs don't bend to our will, so sometimes things slide. We do try to ensure that even when that happens, we keep things at *least* two weeks apart.

Among the options for combined subscription shipping are "Hold for monthly shipment" and "Hold for Pathfinder Adventure Path." Your subscription is currently set to "Hold for monthly shipment." If you'd like it to behave the way you describe, you should switch your setting to "Hold for Pathfinder Adventure Path."

(Normally, there's an Adventure Path shipping every month, so the net effect is the same, but when the AP gets off schedule, as it has this month, that setting comes into play.)

I will. Do you know if a bi monthly shipping option is being considered? My current subscriptions all have a less than monthly frequency, and such an option seems like it would be more to my liking.

Otherwise I think I will look into canceling the map subscription and see how that works for me.

Bimonthly shipments aren't in the cards for a number for reasons. For one, we count on monthly revenue from our subscriptions to keep the bills paid, so having stuff sitting around in the warehouse is not great for us. And, of course, we also need to keep stuff moving in the warehouse... while we'd be able to plan for the subscription product, having a bunch of sidecart items sitting around for two months would be disruptive both in terms of space and cash flow.

Then, of course, subscribers wouldn't be able to get their PDFs for the first month's product until the second month's stuff ships, and we know it's not terribly fun to read about how much your friends are enjoying something you've bought but don't yet have.

Finally—and this is actually the biggest—because shipping costs involve things like maximum weights for specific shipping methods, and size limits for flat-rate boxes, there's actually a good chance that, for many subscribers, it could cost them more to ship one large shipment than two small ones. (Even if that didn't *always* happen to a particular customer, it probably would still affect most people every now and then.)

As a side note... while the Campaign Setting sub isn't technically monthly, we do usually aim for *about* one per month... and when we're on schedule, the GameMastery Maps subscription actually *is* monthly, with Flip-Mats and Map Packs releasing in alternate months.

Fair enough.

But you do realize how strange it sounds when I choose the keep everything I order for one monthly shipment option, you send me two shipments in one month and tell me everything is working as it should?
