Energy Resistance Costs in Magic Item Creation

Rules Questions

After looking through page 550 of The Pathfinder Core Rulebook I've found that it doesn't include costs for energy resistance... should I just use the costs for a spell which grants energy resistance with the "continuous" costs?

I am not sure, but i think most "Energy resistance" is usually provide by spells.

Might check PF phb page 462-463, Energy Resistance entry, as it applies to Armor and shields. (they follow the chart below)

.....................
PF phb page 550 = Estimating magic item gold piece values.

Spell Effect: (resist energy)(Use-Activated or Continuous) Spell level x Caster level x 2000 gp. (see note #2)

Note 2 = If a continuous item has an effect based on a spell with a duration measured in round, multiply the cost by 4. If the duration of the spell is 1 minute/level, multiply the cost by 2, and if the duration is 10 minutes/level, multiply the cost by 1.5. If the spell has a 24 hour duration or greater, divide the cost in half.

p. 462-463 lists it as an armor property that costs 18K to 66K depending on grade. The GM could increase the price if applied to a non-armor item.
