Lost Omens Campaign Setting General Discussion

What do you suppose Molthune would do if Nirmathas sold its borders to LAstwall??

Outside of Pathfinder Society I think this is the kind of thing lots of DMs are gonna start doing in their homegames. I know that since I don't really like Nirmathas, fluff-wise, I would likely arbitrarily rule that Lastwall, maybe even with Molthune, "eliminated" Nirmathas.

In your hypothetical I think it would likely create a feudal-only domino effect. With Lastwall's and Nirmathas's resources together, Molthune would be in dire straits. Either they would be defeated (or absorbed) or they would have to unite with a nearby Power -- convincing Druma. Either way, the geography of Molthune, being the battle ground, would suffer . . . . And if Druma sided with Molthune, Druma would OWN Molthune in the end.

I called it a feudal-only domino effect (instead of feudal and manorial) because, ultimately, the culture of the average Molthunian commoner is different enough that after a generation of fighting the new Powers in Molthune -- though they would be Nirmathan & Lastwall(ian) -- would still be Molthunian. So only the feudal aspect would change.

I don't think Druma would support Molthune -- I think they would support Nirmathas & Lastwall. It seems to be more profitable.
