Question: Why are there fewer reasons to pay a magus than a paladin? Is it because the magus is inherently cooler than the paladin, so one doesn't need as many reasons to be convinced to play a magus, or because there are more good reasons to play a paladin?

I thought the Magus was for the evolutionary new ROFL-play?

Nope! The Magus gets Burning Hands as a 1st level spell and Dimension Door as a 4th!
