Simon, living in Walthamstow.

Been gaming for 25 years. Been in the same midweek gaming group for nearly 15 years.

I've run a lot of different games, but I now run pathfinder pretty exclusively.

Our midweek group is currently playing a 2nd AD&D game; but we've also played PF, Buffy, Mutant City Blues and a whole bunch of other stuff.

We occasionally lose players, so if people are interested in a regular Thursday night game in Walthamstow, drop me a line and I'll get in contact with you when I next run PF (simon (at) english (dot) net)

Many congratulations to Wintergreen!

I don't get to conventions these days much, but if you'd like a hand with behind-the-scenes admin get in touch... plenty of experience in shared campaign organisation (UK coordinator of Living Force and basically cooked up Living Spycraft) if needed.

Thanks very much. Feel free to contact me via paizoconuk@hotmail.com to talk about it.

Not mine, as Wargames Heaven just closed down yesterday.

One of the chaps in my group spends a lot of the week up in Manchester, and I believe he's also in a Pathfinder Society game run by his local games shop up there. Before that, he was in a Living Greyhawk game at the same place, and I suspect one evolved into the other.

I've never seen any organised play myself, but I've never really frequented gaming shops as anything other than, well, shops, so I've not really been looking out for it.

Hello UK Gamers. The names Jeremy and I will be inhabiting Glasgow Scotland in just a few months. Thought I'd stop in and say hello. Hope there's room for a Canadian in the UK.

Welcome to the UK Jeremy. There's always room for more gamers here.

I am Grant, currently residing in Wolverhampton. I have been roleplaying since 1989 cutting my teeth on WFRP, I then moved onto Shadowrun, Vampire and many others.

I got into D&D with 3.5 and that is still my preferred edition, though I am currently GMing a 4e Eberron campaign and am looking forwarding to re-joining the Pathfinder Society Organised play (I GMed and played some in Season Zero, but none since).

I am also co-organiser of the The West Midlands Roleplayers and Gaming Meetup Group where there are currently several D&D3.5 and 4e games going on and sporadic other games such as Traveller and even some AD&D 2nd Ed. No Pathfinder RPG stuff going on at the moment, but there have been some Paizo scenarios and PFS Season Zero scenarios been run using 3.5.

I go to a few conventions a year, Conception, Continnum, Consequences & I went to the first IndieCon too. I also went to the first PaizoCon UK and provided some pregen characters. I am active on ukroleplayers.com and rpg.net using the same name; DigitalMage.

Hi, I'm Andy, currently in Rawtenstall but shortly moving back to Oldham.

There are four of us, currently gaming in Stalybridge. All long in the tooth RQ players (Chaosium, not the Mongoose heresy) although I've just started GMing Kingmaker for the guys

Fanboy 3 in Manchester runs Living Forgotten Realms most evenings and some afternoons. They also have several ongoing campaigns in various systems.

Alex, based in Rugby, Warwickshire (on the cusp between the East and West Mdlands) but working in London (currently City, soon Docklands). Been visiting Paizo for a long time (since Dungeon and Dragon) and playing PF and 4e. I've got a real-world group in the Midlands and a few online things here at Paizo, and a sort-of group in London (which is drifting a bit into abeyance as real life catches up with me in the shape of my new son).

By 'eck, that's unnervingly close. I live atop the ski slope. Fancy a beer sometime? I'm moving down the M66 in a few weeks (before the snow arrives, brrr)

Would that make the closest pub to you the griffin? That would be one of my favourite pubs in the world, assuming he's still brewing hisbown up there.

I used to live just off Blackburn rd so I know it well. I'll see if I can scrounge fund for a quick pint sometime from the treasurer...

Probably. Haven't got around to sampling the local pubs yet - just up here while my house is refurbed, so all I know is Asda, the Little Thief at Rising Bridge and the motorway. Still, reckon I can find a pub when I have to. If you can get the funds (tricky in these straightened times) let me know

Pretty cool to see another board member around these parts. I currently live around Docklands myself, just about 15 mins walk from Canary Wharf and there was another guy further into the Isle of Dogs.

The Exchange

I'd be happy to play in Docklands once every couple of weeks, but only 4e as PF is too much of a faff to prepare for.

Expanding on the theme, would anyone be interested in a game in Docklands, weekday evenings once every couple of weeks? I have one guy who would be interested (other than me) and I can do PF or 4e.

I'd be keen on a game and happy to play either PF or 4E. I don't have my 4E books with me, but could get a Character Builder subscription or something easily enough. Got a bunch of PF books here if end up playing that. I haven't have a game for a while so don't know anyone else who'd be keen, since I'm a recent arrival from New Zealand.

Late to this thread...

JB from London, now residing in Norwich. Currently running a PbP Legacy of Fire campaign in a hodgepodge of Pathfinder and 3.5, which has been tripping along for a year and a half.

On and off RPG'er since wayback, wargamer, scratch builder, collector of board games and related, but now apart from the daily PbP, mostly a non gamer (with a loft space full of boxes) !

Hi, I'm Corey, your thread necromancer, and I live in Lincoln. I used to GM for a gaming group in Mansfield until life moved the family around and I've been a gamer since I was a kid. I'd really like to join or start a group here in Lincoln or nearby.

Hi,

I'm Jason from Lichfield just north of Birmingham and have been playing or GM'ing games for over 20 years.

I'm looking for a regular Pathfinder game to join or run in this area.

Any players out there in this area?

Hopefully that means we will see you at PaizoConUK in the summer!

Welcome to the boards! I'm not in that area myself, but if you hang around long enough, someone will turn up, I'm sure...

Thanks Nevynxx

I'm hoping to get to Paizo uk this year.

I just missed getting tickets last year for the convention and also completly messing up my gaming slots at the Gaming Expo in Brum so didn't get a chance to start any pathfinder society gameplay in 2010.

Hoping to get some gaming done this year.

Hey all.

Born in Kent, Living in Ipswich, Two Teenage terrors, 3 ongoing campaigns, two in Ipswich and one in Peterborough.

Old fart - next year, when I wait anxiously for the next cut of 32, I will be hitting the "magical" big 50.

Tend to run a campaign for 3-4 months and then have a change up for each group...

At the moment we have

Temple of Elemental Evil done the pathfinder way
Return to Temple of Elemental Evil done the 4th ed way
Shackled City being run for the third timem so this year, all 3 groups will have run through it
Star Wars D6
Star Wars D20

And when we need a break from that lot, its usually Roborally, Wings of War WW1 Biplanes, Carcasonne, Settlers of Cataan, Fluxx, Talisman and the Great Space Race but we have like 3 bookcases of board games between us all, so we wont stop gaming for many more years :)

Hi all,

Pretty late to this post as I discovered Pathfinder at Conception. I (or should I say we as my girlfriend is a gamer too) am currently in Greenwich. And would happily play/run/or both some Society sometime in London.

Also open to any other proposals for games, but cannot guarantee anything since I haven't got a really regular schedule. Otherwise I shall probablyy see some of you at PaizoCon.

I was living near Ipswich - Central City Comics was my place for gmae stuff, as well as the shop on the other side of town who's name I forget.

Now I'm in Yorkshire, and Travelling Man in Newcastle is my nearest game fix! (Although the one in York is better!)

Central city is good, but i prefered Lingards games back in the day, before Lingard the younger took over and it went to peices

Hi,

I'm Glenn, I live in Hertfordshire, spend my time between Hemel Hempstead and Tring.

I've been playing since [cough]1976[/cough] and have played/ran all versions of D&D, still play 1st Ed C&S, will play/have played anything.

I have decided to stop running 4E LFR and return to 3.5 in the form of Pathfinder.

I absolutely love the quality of the products and the writing style.

I'm in the throes of prepping Rise of the Runelords for one of the groups I play with, we'll be meeting twice a month.

I'm also going to be running Starblazer Adventures at a number of cons this year for the gang at Cubicle7.

Hi

I'm John living just north of Norwich.

Started playing D&D 2.0 back when I was about 20, (now 47), with some guys at Norwich City College. Tried to play Stormbringer but no one was interested :-(

Played for several years then got a job which didn't give as much spare time as I would have liked. Started playing D&D 3.5 about 5 years ago on a PbP site, (don't know if I can name it so I won't).

The DM I was playing with started up the Legacy of Fire game and invited me to play so I have been learning Pathfinder recently, in fact the game I was playing with him already which was D&D3.5 we have converted to PF.

Are any of the previous posters from in and around Norwich still active on these boards?

Grand Lodge

Howdy,

Name is Christopher but I go by Crispy, from the US but I live in Catworth (west of Huntingdon).

I started with D&D back in the 70's and have not stopped. Other games I have played/Run a lot include Hero (Champions, FoHo, Golden Age, Danger Inc), Stormbringer, Amber, Runequest, Shadowrun, Earthdawn, Stalking the Night Fantastic. I have dabbled in lots of others and we do board game days as well. I mostly find players for D&D so I have always come back to that.

Currently wrapping up a Pathfinderised Shackled City (It has moved from 3.5 to Beta to Pathfinder over the past two years plus) and gearing up for Kingmaker. We also do a PFS home game two-three times a month and my Wife and I GM at conventions when we can.

We are always looking for new/more players so drop a line.

Yup... still here... still in Norwich... not far from the footie ground.

Sovereign Court

I'm Steven from Swindon.

Started gaming shortly after AD&D 2e came out and have tried a variety of different games since then from Paranoia to Star Wars D6.

I currently run Star Wars d20/Saga and PFRPG games completely solo for myself as I have not had a gaming group since my last player left years ago.

The Exchange

I'm Mark and I work in Leeds so monday nights is gaming at Travelling Man. Currently playing Shadowrun using Strands of Fate after a brief tryout of Leverage. Waiting on Nicolas Logue to get off his backside so I can run Razor Coast using PF.

My group also plays once a month on a saturday and we're just taking a break from a Yorkshire based Dresden Files game to do some Eberron using the game system we refuse to admit we play.

Norfolk rather than Norwich (haven't lived there for a while), but on the scale of things, pretty close (Pulham Market, if you've heard of it).

I am from Aberdeen - and as it seems I know all people on the boards who are from up here. If not, please give me a shout - we got a group for PFS going, playing regular, but now 2 are moving away. So, we are urgently looking for new players.

Good day, I'm Garrison and I'm new to Cambridge and to Pathfinder. I think the last time I played D&D was when Third Edition came out. Now that I have started to have a look at Pathfinder, I'm thinking about coming back to the Hobby. I haven't been able to find any sign, but I'm hoping there's an established group of gamers in the Cambridge area who play on the weekends and might be willing to show an old dog new tricks...

Hi, I'm Maureen and my husband and I just moved here to England. We are sandwiched between Banbury and Bicester. We have both played 3.0/3.5 D&D for 10 years, Pathfinder for 1 year, 4ed D&D for 6 months, and WW WOD LARP for 6yrs. We are currently looking for a Pathfinder game, If you know of one near here please let us know, or if you would like to start one count us in too! We are willing to travel up to an hour out, host, and BBQ. My email is:

Sprklbird@aol.com

I can't provide any directions to home-games, but I believe that there are tables of Pathfinder Society scheduled for UK Games Expo 2011 (3-5 June, a couple of miles out from Birmingham city centre).
Website: http://www.ukgamesexpo.co.uk/

Also in Birmingham this summer is PaizoCon UK (16th & 17th July, balti night on the 15th for early arrivals) at Aston University. I believe that there will be distinguished guests in the shape of venture captains from the continent, Mr. Richard Pett, and possibly even Hyrum Savage may (Icelandic volcanoes and industrial disputes permitting) make the long trip across from Seattle.
PaizoCon UK website: http://www.paizocon.co.uk/

We are all (self, son and husband) descending on UK Games Expo. We missed last year to our immense disgust, but 2011 is full of gaming goodness.

Hi I'm Judd, Southampton, Hants. I'm part of the whole Kilcoyne Stormchaser group.

I dnd with some great guys but it seems life gets in the way and it is cancelled. I love role playing the greatest games ( dnd and pathfinder) but is there anybody in the Essex area of the UK that does it or wants to start a group?
