I really want this game.. But I also really want to finish Fable II, which I can't because of a Bug that was game ending that they never addressed.

This is starting to kill me about these games released in October - I love them but no-where near the time to finish them all. I'll be getting Fable III, but I still need to finish all the expansions in Fable II. On top of that, Fallout comes out in October too, and I'll likely be getting that one.
And don't get me started on all the Mass Effect expansions...whew!
But I digress...yep I'll be getting it. ;-)

Not able to select anything or anyone.

The game is decent but it does seem to bring little new to the table.
I have one or two issues that put a hole in my gaming experience:
1. Random STDs. One spouse Slept with four times unprotected to make a family. First 3 times nothing, 4th time STD.
2. Random Children. First Child girl (Caucasian baby, Caucasian child). Second Child Girl (Caucasian baby, black child). Both parents Caucasian.
WTF? If I didn't know it was lazy programming I would have sworn the wife was a cheating.

I pretty much agree with the rant/article here. *Warning Spoilers in Article*
My advice: Fable 3 is a solid week rental type not a game to buy (until it hits the discount and/or platinum bin).
