Alchemist discovery questions

Rules Questions

There are a few discoveries that help with making potion last longer (extend potion) or raise its caster level (enhance potion) or dilution that helps with making potions. Also the extract, Amplify Elixir creates an empowered potion.

I was wondering if you could combine it with Alchemical Allocation to create better potions for example: a haste potion that was created by a wizard would last 5 rounds.

First take the amplify Elixir, then take the Alchemical Allocation and then spit it back out.

So would it be a normal potion still or a empowered, extended , enhanced potion? Then using the dilution discovery, you now have 2 or these modified potions?

Any thoughts about this?

It would still be a normal potion.

The alchemist discoveries/extracts change what the effects of the potion are, they do not change the potion itself.

Amplify elixir only works on potions you consume. I don't think gargling a potion and spitting it out counts.

I do think amplify works in combination with alchemical allocation to let you get enhanced effects from drinking a potion though.
