Dealing with Mobs

Rules Questions

Shadow Lodge

Is the currently any rules for dealing with mobs (of the pitchfork and torch variety)? If so where can they be found?

I just wanted to see if there was anything already about before I wrote something up to deal with it in my game.

Check out the Mob template in DMG II p.59-61. It's 3.5 tho, so you'll need to convert it.

Here's an example:

Base Atk +22; Grp +34

Silver Crusade

There was something somewhere about treating an angry mob like a swarm of Medium sized creatures.

Can't for the life of me remember where I saw that though...

EDIT: How do you get ninja'd by a mob?

It also does bludgeoning damage to creatures in its space. To get the pitchfork kind you can make it piercing.

heh. give em the Trample feat for kicks lol

How do you deal with mobs?

Fireball!

There's this that handled turning anything into a swarm, herd or mob. I found it quite good.

Cheers

The adventure "Man Forever" in Dungeon #137 featured torch-wielding mobs of townsfolk in the adventure's climax. Good times!

You may still be able to get a copy from Paizo's site; I don't know if it's sold out or still in stock.
