Hypothetically I'd flame a knife then go to work on it but I'm a wuss, is there anything less painful you'd know about?

If you're a uni student, they usually have student health departments that you pay into regardless. If not, you could always pretend you're a few fries short of a happy meal and go to the public health department and say you thought it was an STD. They'll see you for free and get you a scrip for an antibiotic. Er, um...or so I'm told.

Paizo Publishing. Oh... wait. Said too much!

GAH! Hypothetically, I would say I'd go to a doctor anyway and try to work something out. Either that, or just tough it out until I lost the limb.

We'll retroactively cut the maximum post length to 100. Which conveniently disables evidence from this particular post that we had evil plans to do so all along.

Is it true that Tom Rex has an upcoming guest role on Mad Men?

No April Fools' Day equivalent comes to mind off the top of my head, but I bet there SHOULD be.

And no, not true. Tom Rex WANTS to get into acting, but he keeps eating the directors. Got him on a LOT of black lists.

Can you please tell Conflict games to send my order to your warehouse so you can then ship it to me?

I strongly suspect that me butting in to the workflow in the warehosue would slow things down rather than speed things up, alas.

I saw them back in '69 at Woodstock; they opened for Joplin. Kicked ass!

Ask me again in 18 months.

While I know it is a bit early, I would LOVE to see an AP in Irrisen. Especially one taking place during the transition between daughters! It would be EPIC!

Since I need to ask a question, Who came up with the idea for Irrisen and Baba Yaga? It seems like such a cool place (no pun intended).

I honestly don't remember. I do know that myself, Erik, and some others have been fans of Baba Yaga for a long, long time, though.

I didn't really celebrate it at all. Too busy trying to get stuff back on schedule, and then too tired to do much more after work but play video games or watch movies or sleep.

Somebody I hold dear suggested that the reason my hypothetical spider bite is getting bigger and redder is because there's a sack of tiny spiders growing inside the bite. How best can I punish this person?

Tea or coffee?

Scones or bagels?

Why does this job application require a 5-paragraph essay when it's for a position in a science lab?

Punish via sending your soon-to-be-born young out as a swarm to exact revenge.

As for the job app, probably because no matter what job you're doing, the ability to communicate is important. Especially in a science lab. It helps to be able to write things like "DO NOT OPEN THIS FRIDGE; MY SPIDER BROOD IS INSIDE."

Who came up with Vomit Swarm in the AGP? It is one of the coolest spells ever.

Would you give a bonus to intimidate if a character was attempting to use Vomit Swarm and the intimidate skill in conjunction?

I don't know; wasn't one of the 20 or so spells I wrote for the chapter is all I can say.

I would give a +2 bonus to an Intimidate check if the player of the character incorporating vomit swarm into the intimidation check managed to role play the intimidation well, but absolutely not for just casting a gross spell.

So some friends and I may be doing a rum and pirate movie night in the near future, which leads to some very obvious questions?

What rums would you recommend for a pirate themed night (aside form the obvious Captain Morgan's)?

What would you rank as the top three pirate movies of all time (available on DVD is preferred)?

Pirates or ninjas?

Are there any movies with pirates and ninjas?

Who won?

EDIT:

Do ninjas drink rum? (I'm thinking it would be a mark against them if they didn't, but that could just be me ...)

I don't know nearly enough about rum to offer advice; I wouldn't have known Captain Morgan's on a bottle of rum unless you just said so. But he's a pirate, so go with that one!

Top three pirate movies: Pirates of the Carribean, Pirates of the Carribean II, Captain Blood.

Pirates AND ninjas.

No ninja vs. pirates movies come to mind. I suspect if they DO do one like this, the geek world will freak out and embrace it, the studio will see that and assume they have a megablockbuster, but then when it comes out it'll tank hard. SEE: "Snakes on a Plane" or "Scott Pilgrim vs. the World."

Ninjas drink sake, if they drink at all.

My best guess: At some point where adding a board game to the schedule will maximize the stress on the editorial and art staff because they're also trying to get several other products that are behind schedule out the door.

The Gamers: Dorkness Rising has a pretty funny sequence with pirates and ninjas. For added geek factor, those scenes were shot at the WotC offices. Heh.

So...

I heard it from 4chan that Ezren the Wizard is one of the gay iconics. Is there any official word?

Does it make you feel proud or somewhat skeezy to know that Anonymous approves?

Does that feeling get better or much better when this comes from a thread on 4chan about how Golarion's backstory has approached the awesomeness level that was the Forgotten Realms before they got full of Mary Sues?
