Labyrinth of madness converting to Pathfinder

I'm gonna try and convert labyrinth of Madness to pathfinder, I always wanted to DM this and see how long the players lived. never had a 2nd edition group get far enough. I'm using Serpentfolk as yuan ti, and Either a storm giant as the titan, with suitable upgrades. As for traps, I'm going to err on the side of kill all the players and up damage and and set some decent DC's. black pudding will be gray oozes. The water elemental will be an elder elemental, and for now i'll leave the 5 golems as flesh golems. The vague images form the mirrors will be dread wraiths, advanced otyugh instead of a neo otyugh. The russet mold will yellow musk creepers, perhaps advanced. Winged snakes will just be advanced snakes. the mottled worm will be a purple worm. Beholders will be converted from 3.5. The lamia will be as the bestiary except with some spell caster levels. The hydra will be a pyrohydra. I'll probably double the number of shambling mounds. The giant scorpions will be giant emperor scorpions. The sundew giant will be a treant. the wights will be cairn wights. skeleton warrior will be skeleton champions. Im-ravin will be a serpentfolk lich.

Good luck w/ this. This remains my all-time favorite dungeon crawl of any edition of D&D.

Thanks, i'll need ut==it

My biggest issue is save dc's and trap dc's

I'm also not sure how to replace the yuan ti with pscionics. probably just a host of spell like abilities.

Yeah, I have no idea how to convert 2nd ed traps and such to 3rd ed, nevermind PF. Maybe check out what Daemonslye (sp?) did w/ his ongoing conversion of "A Paladin in Hell" (or was that a 1st edition adventure, now I can't remember). That's in this Conversions section too.

SLA's for the Serpentfolk sounds like a fine replacement for a non-psionics PF :(

I played in this and had a lot of fun. We resurrected the Gold Dragon that was hanging from one of the ceiling as I recall.

That was originally a 2e adventure, although there were NPCs from 1e in it (e.g., Emirikol the Chaotic).

This is my chance to for fun lol. I'm hoping someone falls prey to the the trap in the 1st room, the one with the electrified ladder, and the power word kill, that then reanimates the dead PC as a zombie lol

Make sure you have the errata before you play.

IIRC, if you don't have the corrections, the PCs may be unable to complete it.

If I were one of your players, I would love you forever. This is probably my favorite adventure of all time (Burnt offerings is close though). Seriously, good luck on this and keep us posted.
