Paizo Booth-Gen Con

I have 2 questions regarding the company presence at Gen-Con Indy 2010
I am planning on attending for the following purposes and more, at least barring anything happening in my professional life before that time.

1) Who of the developers will be on hand to talk to, meet, and shake hands with on the convention floor itself. Also, what artists (if any) that work on the core material will have a presence? It is a real pleasure to have this line of communication open online like this but meeting someone in person is a treat.

2) Upon my purchase of the APG which will being launched with the event (assuming you guys don't sell out too fast :p) would you guys be willing to sign my copy? I will buy you each a beer if you do!

I believe that all of the Paizo editorial team will be on hand at the show. There will also be some guys like Greg Vaughn and Neil Spicer hanging out at the Paizo booth. As for artists, I am not sure who is going to be at the con this year since they don't work for me. Check the GenCon page...I bet they have a list up there.

Every Paizo employee would be more than happy to sign anybody's APG. Just ask!

Thanks a million Lisa! Look forward to being first in line, most likely literally :D

Is there any chance you guys will be open and available on the closed event day prior to the public opening? I know it is for retailers, and educators only but I happen to have my ways and means. If so, do you have any demos running that day or have copies available for purchase then? Lastly, are you offering educator discounts? I know some are, but I don't have a list.

That's not actually taking place in the exhibit hall. Everyone in the hall will be busily setting up their booths that day.

Hmmm ok, well thanks again anyway. You guys have been great with your communication. I don't suppose getting everyone in house to sign a copy to bring along for little ol' me like would be possible now would it?

Ahhhh' I'm asking too much. But that would be pretty cool.

Cya guys at the show regardless!

All the editors and developers will be at the booth throughout the show, so I don't think you'd need anything presigned. Just take your copy around to whomever you want to sign it and they will.

Those guys are awesome nice about signing.

A few years ago I picked up Dragon 300 at the Paizo booth and got all kinds of autographs.

Gary Gygax, Dave Arneson, Monte Cook, James Jacobs, Jason Buhlman, Larry Elmore and many more signed it!

That magazine is one of my prized treasures now!

I’ll be there as well at opening (I think it’s 10 a.m. on Thursday?) so I’ll see you there. :)

Besides visiting the booth, I also plan to go to at least a couple of the panels, as well. Of course I go to GenCon to enjoy playing and trying out new games, but I will admit probably my favorite part of the convention is meeting my favorite fiction authors, authors, editors and game designers of my favorite games and just to peruse the exhibit hall.

Going to have to bring my existing Pathfinder books (at least my hardcovers) for signings, also.

Scarab Sages

How would you guys feel about taking a look at a new Pathfinder Compatible campaign setting book and giving me your thoughts on it? I didn't think you'd have time with the booth to run and everything, but it never hurts to ask right?

Watch out for Sean though! He'll draw on you to express his inner graffiti artist. I have the photo evidence from last year!
