Amael did you ever look at the Sword and Sorcery 3.0 & 3.5 Scarred Lands? By Necromancer Games? After our discussion about movies you seem to have simuliar tastes they were pretty good. I was also a fan of Greyhawk.

I have been very happy with what Pazio has done been a subscriber since 1994 and have nothing but love for them. I am not like everything they have put out but I would I enjoy reading it all. It is great to know that they have kept up such a solid product over this time. The adventure paths are a great contribution to the gaming world and I for one am happy to spend the money on such a superior product.

Oh yea! Sword and Sorcery Scarred Lands was one of those settings I always wanted to play, but never could convince my friends to try. We first got their monster books and I was really impressed with the fluff they had there about the gods and titans, plus the illustrations were really sweet. That would be one setting I would love to learn more about...that and Iron Kingdoms. But yea, Paizo's products are always solid from what I've seen, with their writing, art direction/layouts, and themes probably my favorite aspect.

Rather than just adding another +1, let me share a small story.

When I first discovered Pathfinder, I had no gaming group, no way to get a gaming group, and these conditions looked like they would continue for quite some time (they did, for about six months). Despite that, Pathfinder still interested me enough conceptually that I checked out the SRD, and after I had done that I immediately ordered the Bestiary and Core.

So to sum up, I like Pathfinder enough that I bought it even when I couldn't use it, and I have never regretted that decision.

Yup, similar story here. Found the Beta test about 2 years ago when the only way I could play was pbp or solo (blech!). Moved to SF Area and now I'm flush with game shops running PFS and players galore.

Thanks, Paizo! Glad to have a community to play with. Keep on supporting us and we'll keep on supporting you.

Oh, and stay away from the corporate buyouts...eeek! Can anyone here say TSR?

*big orcish hugs for everyone*

I wholeheartedly agree. I'm astonished that I still get so much pleasure in reading new Golarion stuff. I would have expected to become jaded by now, but it still feels as good as when I bought the Shackled City hardcover (my introduction to Paizo). Rules systems are much of a muchness for me - I've never seen one which made me care much. In contrast, I think the adventures and settings of Golarion are inspired and streets ahead of anyone else. :)

Thank you.

Thank you for revitalizing the game that got me into roleplaying, and the game that I loved and was afraid I was going to have to abandon due to lack of support.

Thank you for being friendly, for answering questions online even when the fans are overzealous at times, and being involved in things. It is something that I haven't seen nearly as often or in depth before.

Thank you for producing products that awe me with their quality and the thought that goes into them.

Thank you for being willing to change and listening to us, regarding the various playtests and the huge amounts of feedback you receive.

Thank you for giving excellent customer service, and making it so that I've only had to deal with customer service once. ^_^

And last of all...Thank you for being a company that I feel I can give my loyalty to.

+1 from over here too. =D

I have to agree with all of the above. Thanks!

+1 to paizo also. I have a little story our local gaming shop started selling the 4th edition books and the 3rd edition books started going on the used rack of the shop and not even 3 months later the 3rd edition books started disappearing off the used shelf and the 4th edition books started filling up the shelf, I thought it was a little funny.Oh and by the way the guys at paizo our really cool and humble people that love their jobs you can just tell and are very good what they do by the way.

Paizo gets my vote and my money! I started to struggle to find gaming product I wanted to buy and now there's too much!

+1

I had to stop my Dungeon subscription unwillingly a few years ago, fearing it would be the end of adventure paths and great modules altogether. Was I wrong!

Pathfinder (AP and things) overclasses Dungeon and Dragon magazine astronomically! This is what fantasy roleplay should be like: a great system, consistent world, beautiful products and art and of course: lots of FUN.

Big thanks from faraway Belgium and keep up the good work!

Silver Crusade

I have played RPG's for 27 years and earlier this year I was going through a rut. I didn't have the time to write plots or ongoing campaigns and I was finding it a struggle to keep running games to the standard that I had set for myself when I was younger and had more time, not to mention energy.

Then I found a little thing called Legacy of Fire.

Frankly after a month of Legacy of Fire in which we have played for 50 hours (no joke) my energy is back, my enthusiasm is back and the fun is back. I am having the same feelings of excitement and enjoyment that I first had as a kid opening the old red box of D&D.

I love the adventure paths. I love the creativity of the writing. I love the intriguing and varied characters and settings. I love the care and love that obviously goes into your products. But most of all I love the fact that you so obviously listen to your fans and are prepared to engage with them and take on board what they say.

Next year I get married to my long suffering, halfling monk playing, fiance. For our honeymoon we are flying over from England to take in both San Diego Comic Con and Gen Con. I look forward to coming over to the Paizo booth to thank you personally for the hours of enjoyment that your adventures have given me and my players.

From the bottom of my heart thank you for helping me rediscover why I love roleplaying.

I love this company and their products. I shared a segment of fiction from an AP volume with a coworker and she asked to borrow it to read the rest. When I tell people about how responsive the staff is to things like message board posts and e-mails they are always amazed (How many companies have a CEO who regularly and personally responds to customer comments?). And most importantly I know a group of kids who are very appreciative of just how awesome Pazio is.

Yeah, Lisa is awesome! For me, its not just that everyone at Paizo is responsive and talks with us about their products, our questions (even gripes sometimes)...its that they actually know those products and love them too.

There is a great difference between a company that understands their product (as most do), its another thing entirely to see a company run by folks who I might actually game with next PaizoCon! That reality is surreal and vaguely disturbing...and yet completely awesome.

For myself, I have to say thank you for giving my gaming group, a group of best friends that have been playing for at least one game a month for the past 8 years, something to look forward to when we thought we would be forced to re-plenish our thousands of dollars worth of new books.

As soon as the playtest came out I had to tell the group, "just wait until Pathfinder comes out..." they really didn't believe me until I plopped my fresh copy of the Core Rulebook down at the first meeting of our current campaign, and by the first week of actual gaming after characters were rolled they all had their own copy. One of them asked me, "Did you get commission for this? You sold it to us for months and it paid off big for them." I just laughed, because the fact that they came on board with me and we were rolling our dice between our hands in anticipation of the next encounter so we could unleash our spells and arrows and two-handed swords on some nasty monster in a version none of us had seen before was more than enough payment.

...and while there is a host of PFRPG official material to buy (don't worry, there's still room on my shelf), it goes right along with all of the rest of my books from 3.5 and before, and the host of material that would be such useless dust-collecting memories if not for you.

Paizo rocks!!!

A big "thank you" from me, too. I really appreciate that Paizo gave us the option to stay with a revitalized third edition system and made it better than it was before.

I can't think of another company I'd rather give my money to. Since being introduced to Pathfinder during Beta, I've converted a group of friends in the States to it, who have in turn converted their respective gaming groups to it. I've also started up two campaigns in England, spreading the Pathfinder love.

I haven't seen a company put so much care and effort into everything they do. I love the Campaign Setting and the way it plants seeds of ideas in a GMs head without spoiling things for players who pick it up. I love the fact that every time I start looking at the different classes, I realize how much I want to play all of them. I love the adventure paths and how they do a lot of heavy lifting when I run them while still giving me some room to add my own flavor.

My only regret is being a penniless student and not having more money to spend on Paizo products.

+1 to all of this.

And let me add that I've met Mona, Jacobs, Buhlman, Sutter, Schneider and Reynolds, and these dudes are just as cool in real life. Can't wait to game with them someday!

Also, on a slightly unrelated note....

I just got my APG! Too bad I haven't finished reading my GG. :(

Thank you Paizo! Thanks for taking so much of my money each month for your great products. :)

I just wanted to toss in my two coppers, and say thank you.

After trying 4.0 D&D for about three months, both Dming and playing, I and my group found the game not to be our cup of tea. For us this wasn’t a problem, because we had lots of 3.5 books.

I was also displeased to see the demise of the print magazines Dungeon and Dragon. That had always been my link to the hobby, even when I wasn’t playing the game. Like my National Geographics, my Dungeon and Dragon magazines fill few shelves in my bookcases.
So when Pathfinder came out I thought I would give it a try. I was very pleasantly surprised. I thought it was an excellent product. I was thrilled to find out Paizo was putting out a Pathfinder role-playing game. It’s wonderful to have a choice.

I also appreciate that you guys have been very responsive to our requests big and small. I like that you have put your stuff out to be play tested and you have listened to us. I’m sure I was but one of many, but I appreciate that you listened to my suggestion that cure spells be added to the list of spells known for the Oracle. I also appreciate that James Jacobs, Joshua Frost, and others, have taken the time to answer other questions I have posted such as “ where did earth fall happen?” or “ would it be a good idea to award a GM credit for one of your characters, every time GM a Pathfinder Society game?”

So in short, thank you guys for putting together excellent products. Two cheers for the City of Strangers. I’m still digesting the other stuff (Game Mastery Guide, Advanced Players guide etc)

+1 to everything said so far.

I got hooked on 3.5 about 5 years ago. After looking over some 4E stuff, I knew I wasn't going to play it. It was just too... different. I had 3.5 and i thought that system was pretty close to perfect. Then this last christmas I got the core rulebook, and I've been all pathfinder ever since. I really like the accessability of the big guys and girls on the message boards too

I'm completely enamoured with Pathfinder, not just as a product, but as a world. The stories are amazing, the imagery is breath-taking, and the people are interesting. The story of Channa-ti was my favorite so far. Since, I don't have any AP's after Legacy of Fire, I can't comment on those. But, I'm sure others will chime in to tell you how much they enjoyed them.

Also glad that you've got PF Minis coming soon (if they're not here already, I've been out of the loop lately). Any chance of having bundles of 10+ zombies, skeletons, orcs, goblins, kobolds, etc? Also, you may want to invest in a new whip for N'wah.. How am I supposed to buy his paper-minis if he's not making any? lol..

I'm currently in a bi-weekly game with people I didn't know at first, but have grown to be friends with. Our game is currently 3.5, and drawing near an end soon. Our GM is eager to relinquish his seat, for someone else to take over, and I'm hoping I can grab up that seat quick enough so that I may start fresh with Pathfinder.

Also, we do use Gamemastery Maps, and the whole group loves them! I've also just convinced the GM to use the Critical Hit/Fumble deck I bought a couple years ago. He's having a blast with them!

Thank you, Paizo! You rock!

Liberty's Edge

I am enjoying everything that I am seeing from Paizo regarding Pathfinder. I am active in a local Pathfinder Society group, and even have run a scenario. I am enjoying the setting and the rules.

A major +1!

I was one of those poor souls who enjoyed their 3.5 monthly fixes of Dragon magazine subscription (unfortunately couldn't afford Dungeon *sob*) and loved reading them, deciding what to use on players next. I was shocked and dismayed with the announcement of the discontinuation of the product line and of 3.5 altogether. I had been collecting a few books, mostly from the main line and was deeply upset at this turn of events (not as much as some of my friends who had collected even more than me). Paizo had then done a (IMHO) brilliant business decision with allowing subscriptions to run out on their new line, Pathfinder. I decided to let my subscription run out and then I would start checking out the old RPG section at the local used book store for 3.5 books. That was the plan.

Hooked, I tells ya, Hooked! Worse than crack!

The world of Golarion was opened and couldn't be closed back down, for me. Each new episode made me more excited to see what those fabulous people at Paizo would come up with next. From Sandpoint to Varisia to Avistan & Garund to all points in between and beyond, it filled me with wonder and joy and a bit of malicious glee at what I could throw at my players next. From Adventure Paths and Modules and Chronicles and Companions to an all new Core, each new step in the evolution has made the game I love more and more FUN! In all honestly I can say that I haven't been this involved in, and invested in, gaming since I first picked up a 2nd-ed players back in 1990. Not even when 3rd came out.

Thanks, folks!

I don't have much time left before I prepare for work, today. But I would like to say that right now, I don't have time to run Paizo Pathfinder Society materials. Odd Mondays (run with me here) are Kingmaker nights. Even Mondays we brought out the Savage Tide with the release of the APG. And sometimes, about every two to three weeks, I get to run Curse of the Crimson Throne for a non-dedicated group of gamers-The Relaxers.

I have to let you know that I use your products a lot during the week. I'm constantly going through and setting things up for a large group of friends 6-9 that get together and play your games. We constantly are talking between conversations about rules and statistical questions. Minutia is always on one player's mind as he's trying to Munchkin his way through my campaigns (evil, evil Bob).

So I again must state, Thank you. You give people like myself a lot to look forward to. Even if all it is, is one night a week.
