Sorry to hear Moff. I find those stories uplifting, and hoped it'd be something positive and not yet another slugfest.
I want to thank you for the thread Sebastian. I am almost positive that it will eventually be hit by trolls, but as long as we keep it clean, they are nothing but a#!~!@#s. Besides, these posts are about our personal relationships with our faith, something that online cowardly trolls can not affect. :)

Nekkid Thanks!

Because I will shank you.

I know who did it and am very susceptible to bribery.

Reposting due to it being buried at the bottom of the page. I don;t want the pony to miss his chance to brib...I mean, find out who did this to him. :)

I had that feeling at first as well. I guess because I expect some dbag to chime in to attack, or 'educate' us with their own POV.

Sharing a very personal POV is risk taking. And historically...

Posted something. It feels a bit disjointed though.

Hey, lots of people know who it was. Moorluck, Solnes, Mr. Shiny, Crimson Jester, Urizen, taig, plus myself. We are ALL open to bribes. I am willing to accept paizo gift certificates. Give me enough and I will give up the guilty party. ~wicked smile~ So, what is it worth to you to know who did it, Sebastian?
The real question is whether it's worth being shanked if you don't tell me.
~laughter~ You have to come to the FAWTY Con to do that, so hush with your idle threats, pony boi.

Yes!! Come to the FawTLy Con!! Its only a trip across the country. :)

If I were you I would not go bare faced.

Beards are the mark of Awesomeness™. Go for a goatee or a Van d@@@ if you must, but never abandon your Awesomeness™.

I'd stay away from the pornstache as well, but that's just me.

I must not be awesome, then. I look like s&$$ with a beard. Sort of like a homeless unwashed Charles Manson head stuck onto a homeless unwashed Mike Ness body. Eccchhh...

If I grow any more facial hair than I have, I look the same. I should probably shave, but I think that I'm trying to make up for loss on the top of my head.

Spoiler:
I was going to say "...make up for loss in other areas". but didn't feel the need to feed Urizen more than normal.

I'm debating whether I should start a "please, come share your lack of faith" thread. It's really not to be a dick about things--I just think that it's an opportunity for even more interesting stories. I'm quite enjoying reading the existing thread, by the way.

My only worry is that creating a new thread will double the probably troll trouble. Thoughts?

If there were positive stories, sure. The problem is that it seems to me that more often than not, people have "lack of faith" due to issues with others who have "faith". I would be concerned that it would be end up being a complaint session.

But then, my glass is generally half empty.

In my experience, discussions of the sort always end up being a mixed bag. There are people with negative experiences, but there are also people like me who've had positive experiences in the same vein. For example.

Nice. I like that.

But at the same time, I hope that the faith thread doesn't do that either. I don't want to see -- "I'm sad for all the atheists because they just don't get what they're missing" or "Why can't they just see the wonderful thing that God is?"

It's a fine line that some people can't see well...

So, we finally saw Tron at the theatre over the weekend.

The 3-D thing was a little annoying (and I didn't feel that it added all that much).

But more than that, am I the only one that was thinking...

Spoiler:
um, where's Tron?

And then, when you find out who he is (not really a big surprise), he ends up not really doing much.

I mean, what's the point of calling a movie "Tron" when Tron is pretty much only even mentioned one time?

Outside of that, it was pretty enjoyable.

(Really like the soundtrack.)

I thought much the same when I read that as well. It is a very fine line. Hopefully one that the current thread will not cross too many times.

IIRC you look good in a beard.

I had to be clean shaved for the refinery job, and it weirded me out for for a couple of weeks when I saw my reflection.

Yeah, they've been in trouble for a while. Even their flagship store has been looking kind of sad lately. My neighbor works for them in tech support and she says that the layoffs have been insane.

Borders will cease to exist in my location as both stores will be closed down.

I wonder if they'll discount the stock or will they redistribute them to the stores that will remain open?
