Your ball is sparkly and filled with fluid.
And streamers. And it flashes different colors. Mmmmm, shiny.
You do bounce them awfully hard though. Be careful of the floor.
You have to bounce 'em hard to get them to work right. Otherwise, they just sit there.
Look, they're tired. People are always picking them up and playing with them. No wonder you have to bounce em so hard.
I hate when people do that. They get all sticky.
Yeah they do. Maybe we should wash our balls.
People will come in tomorrow and grope them with gross sticky fingers, getting them all dirty again. It's pointless, woe woe....
Maybe we should move them away from the door. They're the first thing grabbed when people walk in here. Perhaps I'll put out some wet-naps.

Like I wan't laughing hard enough already. Must....breathe....

We already moved them from right up front to slightly farther back. We don't want to put them all the way to the back! They'll be too close to the rear exit.

Very true, and it's awfully dusty back there. I wouldn't want our sticky balls dusty too, though it might prevent the sticky. They'll just have to be dirtier balls.

I think the new balls with the streamer tails will distract people from our small, sticky balls.

Liberty's Edge

Yeah, balls with streamers are definitely more eye catching.

Why does everyone misconstrue what we're saying?

I hate this stupid head cold. It is messing with my inner ears something awful.
Stuff:

Spoiler:

Oh, and since I've been gone for a bit, yes, my husband did get fired. It wasn't as bad as it could have been. He actually got some severance pay, so we're okay for a bit. Still sucks, but overall I am cautiously optimistic. Since this means that we had to cancel our family vacation that was supposed to happen next week we spent the weekend doing some fun stuff to make up for it a little, like taking the kidlet to the zoo. Plus it made the waiting bearable since the evil boss kept delaying the actual firing. Seriously, it was downright inhumane. First it was gonna happen last Tuesday, then it got pushed to Friday, then Monday at noon, then 4, and she actually showed up at 5. Horrible woman.

Do it with a dictionary. She must pay for crimes against the English language. ;P

Seriously, she would tell people that they needed to calibrate expectations to better align with the future state and that they should planfully distort their time better. *shudder*

Hiked about seven miles, saw four moose and a couple of nice falls in Rocky Mountain National Park. Got internet for a little bit. And noticed that the CRD hasn't really let up while I've been gone. Oh well. Still ... having a good trip.

I'm not going to catch up on 150 posts (you guys are slacking) but...

Lynora -- sorry to hear that. That's never good news. Hope your man finds work soon. Hang in there.

Ann Arbor. Hopefully staying in the area. And he was a district manager for a mall retail store. He's got some leads so we'll see how things go.

Good luck, lynora. I hope that your hubby gets a replacement job soon.

I too am going to take some time off. Too many flame retardant trolls around to be able to has a discussion about the actual subject of a thread let alone being able to have a civil discourse.

I no longer has any subscriptions to have to worry about cancellations, though in my case it was lack of funds not lack of wanting products.

Who knows I may be back some day.

Plus I need to spread this manure around, they say Kobold feces is good for roses.

Cough it up, Woody. You can't let Uri know something and not me. It's in the rules somewhere.

The irony is ... it has already been alluded ... and NO ONE 'cept Woody picked up the vague reference. Sad Urizen is Sad.

Mornin' FAWLTers. It's not even 8 am here, and I already have a taste for a cold beer. Or maybe a fruity margarita.

On the bright side, had another phone interview yesterday. Went well and crossing my fingers.
